Everybody was very rude, not a really good atmosphere in general, I wouldn't recommend this place customer service really needs work I would never come back here again.
I love dogs too but there are way too many dogs in the store I can understand if they're for security purposes but if I'm looking at the merchandise and I have to worry about getting my hand mauled there's a problem.

If you enjoy condescending treatment and being verbally abused this is your store. I've never been treated that way in my whole life. It was absolutely astonishing. I must say the inventory they had was amazing. The prices were also some of the highest I have seen. I honestly wouldn't recommend anybody ever go here. The other bad reviews are spot on. especially the ones that mention Zach.

I live quite a distance from Canyon Sports. However, they are reputed to have a large selection of guns so I thought I would make the drive to see what they might have in stock.
On my first visit, I met Zack and a young lady, both working behind the counter. The young lady was quiet and efficient. She was very helpful in filling out all the necessary forms required to purchase a handgun. Zack is a big man with a watchful eye. Nothing gets past him. As far as I am concerned this is what makes a gun shop a safe place for customers.
Zak knows what he is talking about when it comes to guns. If you came looking for a warm welcome, a friendly discussion about politics, or "hold your hand" customer service then maybe you should look elsewhere.
If you came to buy a gun from a place with a very good selection, in a safe environment, from professionals who know their business far better than any I know, then this is the place for you.
Zac and his coworker helped me purchase the right gun for the right purpose. He offered me advice on protecting my family and staying within the confines of the law. I was always taught that God gave us one mouth and two ears meaning we should listen twice as much as we talk. I listened to what Zac and the young lady had to say and now I am the richer for it.
Great experience. My only regret was I failed to ask the young lady her name. Not much of a gentleman on my part.

That flabby wannabe poser biker Zack is a condescending, disrespectful rude jerk. I'd say other stuff but I will refrain from profanity. He really must not care if Canyon Sports goes out of business. He's got a reputation in the gun community and it's not good. His fake tough facade is a joke. I've bought guns from that shop-- such as my CZ that I love but will never support that business again-- because of him. Don't go to Canyon-- go to Peninsula Guns in San Bruno.. He's a POS. A miserable human being

Called to ask a simple question about FFL transfers and was instantly treated like dog shit. This place has the worst customer service of any establishment I've ever been to. Go elsewhere.

absolutely love it here. Really was the best gun store in the bay as they had so much to choose from it made the store a little cramp in there. They had guns that where pretty hard to come across and the prices where way cheaper then a usual big chain store. I'm new to hunting and they where so helpful and friendly for any questions I had. I always use to bike ride next to here and never would of imagine a hidden gem that was that's local to where I live. I was a little hesitant to even come here because of all the 1 stare reviews but thank God I came here first and not let people who are sissys to harsh language get the best judgment. Looking forward doing more business with them.

Went in with a good idea of what I wanted & purchased a Saint Victor .308 that was out stock elsewhere. The price was pretty dead on compared to having one shipped with FFL fees. Between selection, FSC test & paperwork I was out in a half hour. Rifle was boxed & ready at 10 days.

These guys are great. They know their guns. They know their business. They're direct and honest with their opinions and language. HUGE selection of guns and ammo. Transaction and paperwork was super fast and smooth. Great experience!
