Loved visiting this store for the inventory is truly amazing and worth the visit, you might spend a lot time going through all the goodies they have and it's like a fun adult treasure hunt, super clean, well organized and dust free!!!

This is your place for vintage and antique jewelry!! I stopped in on a Sunday just as the street market was closing, so the shop was very busy! Don't come in a hurry- and why would you want to? So much to look at! I saw customers buying stones, vintage sewing supplies, jewelry and more. I spent at least an hour browsing this small but full shop. After I made my selections the shop owner, Yvonne, noticed I was wearing a necklace of a certain era and invited me to see some similar merchandise that was not displayed. VIP or what?! I found an amazing satin glass, American Art nouveau necklace. The price was very fair! I felt like it was made just for me back in 1915. I found a few other things and believe me- I made sacrifices trying to choose between at least a dozen beautiful pieces. I'll be back for you!! Very friendly and knowledgeable shop owners!

The little old lady there asked to check my sisters ID when she handed over her credit card to pay. After hanging out in the store for a little bit afterwards it was very obvious that she only checked her ID and another minority woman's ID. In the three or four caucasian people who went up and paid with a card did not have their id's checked. Disgusting in this day and age. Absolutely disgusting and pathetic.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. I was in downtown Martinez signing up for a library card and decided to walk around with the time left on the meter. My friend and I decided to go into this antique store where we were not greeted but he looked us right in the eye. My friend found some stones and was going to purchase but when I saw that this person had moved from his position to watch us on his security screen when he was not doing so for ANY other customer, I told her we would not be purchasing there and would be going to a much friendlier and inviting shop. I have lived in Tennessee for 25 years and my first dealing with prejudice, ironically, is in California I will NEVER be back there and they should probably watch pretty woman bc you shouldn't just a book by it's cover

Yikes. Is this place called bad girls antiques or is it just bad antiques? The merchandise seems poorly maintained and the worker seems overworked and unhappy in life. Attic child is so much better! And they’re nice to everyone.

Excellent customer service, John and Yvonne are very knowledgeable, friendly and carry true antiques. Alot of "Antique" shops carry newer items, which should not be allowed in my opinion. If you are looking for cheap thrift store items, don't go to a First Rate Antique store.

Mistaken identity or poor business relations? One of my worst experience ever. I decided to stop by and shop at this store because I was in search of a full size bed frame. I have never shopped here before, so I would have been a potential long term customer. The owner Yvonne was watching me with disapproval. When I questioned her she stated, " If you are that girl that was in here last week I am going to ask you to leave." I asked her if she was serious because this was not the sort of greeting I expected. She then said " Well are you that girl because you certainly look like her ?" Because of her poor customer service I decided to leave, and told her this. What I didn't realize was that because I chose to leave, that it was at that moment I became, that girl from last week in her mind ! Insulted and hurt, I walked to my car thinking, damage done but at least it's over. On my way to my car I decided to stop next door, at Antiques on Main, since I was still looking for a bed frame, and needed to shake off such a bad experience. After entering I looked around for a few minutes and then went upstairs in hopes of finding a bed frame. I was only upstairs for a few minutes before a lady came upstairs and stood next to me and eyed me up and down in a disapproving way. She then questioned me as to what I was looking for. So I told her. She then asked me what I did at the store next door. I expressed my frustration about what unfolded next door and how insulted I was. She then told me that the lady came over and told her who I was. Although she never introduced herself to me I later found out that she is Judy, the owner of the store. I asked her if we were going to have a problem, and then she asked me for my name and to see my drivers license. Well at that point I realized we were actually having a problem. I asked her if that is a standard question that she asked all of her customers. She said " no, I just need it see it so that you will not get in trouble for what you did not do." I realized the magnitude of the situation and decided to leave once again due to such insult to my integrity, as well as bad customer service. This was like a bad nightmare. On my way out I stopped at the front desk and asked the gentleman if I could speak to the owner or manager. As I waited for him to finish with another customer the lady from upstairs approached me again and once again asked for my name and drivers license. She stated, " at this time since You will not give me your identification I will have to ask you to leave. " This lady, Judy is the owner of the store. Michael, I guess the other owner said nothing. Mistaken identity, or poor business relations? I took a business card from both places and you will find a poor yelp on both antique stores. I don't think I have ever been so insulted. I am a Registered Nurse and deal with the community on a daily basis. I really hope that no one else is ever treated this way again in either store. I am also happy that I did not spend any money there, and will never return. Not only did Yvonne ruin my shopping experience at her store but she also defamed my character next door, and ruined my shopping once again. Yvonne, you were mistaken, and very wrong with what you did, not once but twice. Judy, in my opinion you should focus on your own business and perhaps protect a possible future customer, Letting Yvonne fight her own battles. If you decide to shop at either place make sure you don't look like a customer from last week. In close, it is my choice to walk in, my choice to walk out, my choice to never return, as well as my choice to write this review on the terrible treatment I received all because you thought I was someone else.
