If you happen to stumble across an ad for ACME about a car you're thinking of buying, don't hesitate to call! The owner, Sunne, is very helpful and thorough. I bought my latest car here a couple months ago, after coming across an ad on craigslist that directed me to the ACME website. After many years of not owning a car, I suddenly was in need of one and was very nervous about the whole process of finding a suitable, reliable, and affordable car. Even though my driving was a bit rusty, Sunne took the time with me to make sure I was satisfied with the car. And because it was late by the time we were through with the sale, she arranged to have her brother follow, so she could take me home and drop the car off. I'm overall very pleased with my experience and thought it was a great alternative to buying from a large dealership or private seller. Thanks again, Sunne!

I rarely make yelp reviews or any kind of reviews at all, but felt this one was over due. This is a very great but underrated small used car establishment at the heart of downtown Martinez. Sunne, the owner, was very helpful with the whole process. I ended up with a lovely car that fit my needs during a time when it's hard to find decent used cars even at a large dealership. Sunne took the time with me to make sure I was satisfied with the car. And because it was late by the time we were through with the sale, she arranged to have her brother follow, so she could take me home and drop the car off. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience!

I just recently purchased a vehicle from acme and I have to say it was a pleasure doing business with Sunne. She was nice personable and overall made you feel comfortable. She helped me get the wagon I was searching for and she even filled up my tank. She provided copies of the recent work done on the vehicle I had purchased. She certainly went above and beyond. I’ve purchased several cars from other dealerships but most of them put off a vibe that doesn’t seem right. Not this place . Not pushy and I was comfortable from the start! My family could not be happier with our purchase from here. Thanks Sunne ! I hope the best for you and Acme.

Talk about customer service! When I needed a document for the vehicle I purchased three years earlier, Sunny not only found the document in the back of a storage unit, but mailed it to me! Thanks again!

Just bought a car today from Acme Sunne in particular, I am beyond pleased she was very accommodating, polite and professional.I did not have a way to get the car by myself today to my address Sunne went beyond her duty and helped me by make it happened. I have the car I always wanted. I recommend highly the business I felt confident buying from her. I had a few options of how to pay witch was helpful. If there are any flaws she will make sure that things are correct and she have The carfax!! Their prices are very fair! I had a bad experience with other dealerships even with appointment 2 of them sold the cars while I was on my way to the dealership but Sunne kept her word. She will not sell the car you wish to see. No sneakiness shop with confidence just like I did today!:) Thank you Sunne I appreciate you!

Had a great experience. Really upright people who aren't trying to rip you off. The gave me a great deal on a used Volvo and thoroughly examined it with me before I left the lot. Over a year later, the car still runs great and I've only ever had to take it in for routine maintenance. No surprises. Dick and Sunne are great people to buy a car from.

I was looking for a four seat convertible and Acme had the exact car I needed at a fair price. Sunne and Dick were very helpful and accommodating, staying in touch as I worked through my search. Acme are experts in the European luxury/near-luxury segment, with a depth of knowledge you won't get at a chain. There are no overeager pushy 22 year old salesperson in an embroidered polo shirt here - they are a literal mom and pop with the old-fashioned service sadly missing these days. If you are the type to buy books from your local indie bookshop and not on Amazon, this is the car buying experience you want.

This is definitely the worst experience I've ever had it trying to purchase a car, made plans to come see the dealer of the ownership drove 40 miles round trip to find that she wasn't there called her up on the phone she spoke to me told me she was on the phone with someone else and she call me right back and never did I had to go to the bathroom and drove all the way to the Amtrak station in Martinez just to find a bathroom called her back still no answer had $6,000 cash to put down on a $9,000 car and couldn't get them to even try to sell me the car absolutely the worst and most unprofessional experience I've ever had. These people definitely need to google "coffee is for closers" they couldn't even tell me why they couldn't help me I guess because it was the end of the year and you don't want to sell cars at the end of the year? on December 30th completely unbelievable! I guess taking time off was more important?
