“We attended a weekend wedding at Straus Family Farm. This place was less than a minute drive away, across the street and a bit down a small winding road. We stayed two nights. The room was comfy, kind of shabby chic decor. We had the garden room, view of the bay with a small table and chairs, plus two comfy sitting chairs and a fireplace with books and games. CD's as well, if you have something to play them. Fairly large bathroom, small fridge. No tv, but we were not there much. Fun continental breakfast served between 8-9, you fill out a form of what you want and when, and it is delivered to your room. We had delicious coffee, three types of sweet bread, orange juice and a bowl of fresh strawberries and blueberries. There were also two wine glasses and an opener. Beds were really comfy and had a down quilt. Not fancy, but the convenience of the wedding venue was perfect. Wonderful bakery in Tomales, delicious deli next to it. Dillon Beach a short drive. Nick's Cove a quick drive, as well. Proprietor Bob was friendly and accommodating. Recommend!!!”

“I stayed at the Lodge twice this fall as an event manager and will be delighted to return again in 2024.We did a full property buy-out, which allowed us to really experience all that the venue had to give. Not only is the surrounding park and area just beautiful (great for wildlife spotting), the overnight rooms are also well-appointed with comfortable beds, luxurious amenities (like a white noise machine!), and cute touches like a rechargeable lantern that can be used throughout the property. Oh, and the body care products are divine. The staff cared for our group with such kindness and attention to detail. We were all navigating a lot of newness, with the property just having opened in September, and our organization hosting the largest ever event... but we were able to work together to find quick solutions! This is a great venue for any type of event where the attendees will see the value of being in nature, matched with amazing food (ask for Erik at Belfare to cater for your group), while being cared for in a thoughtfully designed and renovated space.”

“Great location near Point Reyes National Seashore. The Ridge room had outstanding views. I loved watching the various birds on the property. Breakfast was very good, also. I would definitely stay here when I return!”

“My sister and I stayed at Windsong for five days to explore Point Reyes. It was a perfect location for getting out and exploring as well as tasting local cheeses and mead. The cottage itself was amazing. Such an adorable building and it was soooo quiet. We even had Jack rabbits hopping by while sipping coffee. They provided a lovely food basket, eggs, juice and coffee. Nights in the hot tub looking at stars were the best way to finish each night.”

“We had an incredible weekend at Coyote Beach in the Acacia cottage. The cottage itself is very cute and cozy, it might be a little tight for 4 adults but for a couple plus a dog it was fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring Point Reyes, very close drive to the town and walkable to the general store, Saltwater Oyster Depot and Vlad's. The other cottages had guests but we barely noticed. The shared seating areas were almost always empty and we could always hang out on one of two of our private patios.”

“My husband and two year old son love staying here. The rooms are cozy and there is a great yard with trees and grass for kids to run around and play.Nearby activities: Super close to town and to all the amazing nature of Pt. Reyes”

“Our room was great. The hotel was clean, convenient and had its own modern style that we enjoyed. The town is small but beautiful, and the nearby bakery and deli were awesome! We were in the area for a wedding, so we didn't get to explore as much as we would have liked. However, Tomales was the perfect spot to use as our home-base. We were also pleased to find that the hotel price was extremely reasonable compared to other options in the surrounding area.”

“A December 27, 2023, visit was nice. Rain dampened the experience, which is probably better during any season other than winter. This is a unique property that is aging well. It is well maintained. It is a visual delight and compliments the surrounding landscape of West Marin and Point Reyes. The accommodations were good with a nice bed in the loft (Room 18) and a sofa bed on the main floor. Our only complaints were centered on the warmth of the room and the motion activated stair lights. Even though the hotel is on the coast, the rooms seemed to be more than warm. This is not particular to us as the room does have lots of fans and a free-standing air conditioning unit. The motion activated light at the top of the stair well lit every time I changed bed positions. I eventually put a bag over the lamp so it would not come on. I noticed in the morning that my son, who was sleeping downstairs, put pillows over the lights illuminating the stairs as they obviously came on when the top lamp was activated. However, in spite of the fact that my son was not overly concerned about me tumbling down the stairs in the dark, I completely understand why the step lights are in place as the bathroom is on the ground floor. There was a small blip in getting into our room on a cold and rainy afternoon. Management took care of us. Overall, an enjoyable stay and we looking to returning in the future.”

“Had a great time here! Tiny homes and so cute and love being a quick walk from the ocean. My hubby and I came for my birthday and enjoyed our relaxing stay. A couple of things we noticed: - if you turn on the heater, the fridge stops working - window by our bed did not close - we ended up putting pillow over it - the internet was VERY spotty - there's no reception in the area”
