Great place to have in our town to ship items and have them securely dropped off since shippers like Amazon won’t always deliver to your front door when you’re off the beaten path.
I’ve always had a great experience whenever I stop by to pick up or drop off items. The notary service is very convenient. Overall, I’m very glad I chose to get a mailbox at the Mariposa Shipping Co.

Okay for dropping off returns. But I just received a form that had to be notarized for my late mother's estate. The company in San Francisco that was handling the paperwork put a couple of stickers on it--one for where the notary was to sign and one where I was to sign. The notary said she couldn't do it because "you can't have any blank spaces." No assistance of any kind and I had no idea what to do since I have no experience with this kind of transaction. Also most of the spaces on the form did have info typed in. She also kept saying that maybe they weren't a California company because the rules are different and couldn't seem to get it when I told her that it was a California company--in San Francisco--which was clearly written on the form as well. When I got home I told my husband what had happened. He said he'd had the same experience there with a different person, who told him to write NA in the empty spaces. So I ended up taking the form home and I'll have to go back again--not convenient because we don't live in town. I cannot give this place a good review due to the lack of service or even kindness. Unless the employee was ignorant of what to do. How hard would it have been to tell me to write NA in the blank spaces? NOT happy.

Rhonda at Mariposa Shipping Company answered my plea of, "Help me Rhonda, help, help me Rhonda" when I was stuck in a corner creating our mother's funeral flyer with only two days to spare. Not only did she arrange my own design for a half-fold, four-sided memorial hand-out, but gave us printing options as well. We made our choice, and Rhonda printed them up on cardstock paper and even folded all the cards in half for us. AWESOME service!"Thank you Rhonda, thank, thank you Rhonda"!!!

While they do UPS service they don’t do amazon returns. However if you do unfortunately need their services give yourself plenty of time as I’ve seen quicker work at a mortuary.

Amazon return drop-off required printing out the shipping label. At UPS it's usually free, but I can understand if a small place like this charges for the printing. However, I was also charged $1.50 for "computer rental" on top of the printing without being told all of the costs before doing it. Shady and annoying.

Came in wanting to print from a USB stick. They said they would have to check my device for viruses first. They took it and put it in their computer and said it doesn't work, then they put it into the printer and whatever they did to it, it wasn't working on the printer. They couldn't find any files on it. I had many files on this stick even videos. I have used it 100's of times. It worked when I brought it in and they had it in their possession while trying to figure it out rather than letting me try to use it. The data didn't disappear on my watch. I took it home and now the disk is empty and unrecognizable by windows. Everything I had on it is now gone. Don't let these people touch your data.

Need to ship something quickly? Then this is the place. Plus even the boxes they offer to ship your items are a reasonable price. I was surprised how much it was to ship to New York. It was great. Also if you need to print something out and don't want to drive back home like Merced. You can use their computer and print. All you pay is for the pages you print. Great service as well. Muchas gracias ?

Whoever heard of a UPS Store or a shipping store not having strapping tape or reinforced tape? Half the packages sent by Amazon and Walmart are of that.
