People ask for money for themselves and they don't want to work. They will also harass you and say you are ignorant.

It has a decent variety of dry Mexican goods and other Latin products. It also have a Carniceria (meat market) and a food kitchen for quick Mexican food. The food is okay, nothing exceptional but enough for the craving. The carniceria has an ok selection of cuts. The produce section is small and the produce may not always be fresh, so keep that in mind. They sell pan dulce too, but I would highly recommend making a trip to any of the Mexican bakeries in Seaside. The prices for common groceries are a bit overpriced so I usually limit myself to the meat market. Still, it is good to know we have a store for those hard-to-find products that we love.

BEST MENUDO IN THE ENTIRE 831!!Best breakfast to have. We’ve been buying their menudo for the past 20+ years and as someone that’s tried menudo in many other places from San Francisco to Monterey none can beat this one at El Rancho Market. This menudo comes paired with its cilantro/onion mix as well a crushed pepper with oregano on its separate containers.I’ll be honest I haven’t been in the store in many years but my dad brings us menudo from here just about every weekend. When we go visit family in Modesto area they always ask us to bring them some. That’s how good it is.On the picture I added my own home grown oregano hence the big oregano leaves.Everyone needs to give their menudo a try.

I love El rancho my family & I have been coming to this market since I was a little girl! 27 years later I still stop by to cash my checks and I’m always greeted with a smile I love the fact they sell vegetables then they have the meat section with other food items as burritos ect .. It’s a family owned market I think that’s pretty awesome. I love how I come in they know who I am :) as a customer it makes me feel good.. thank you all ! Keep up the good work..

A quick 7 year update. Still a solid 4 star store. Still a good burrito, though a bit more expensive. When I first started making this my stop in Marina burritos were $3.25. At $9.99 now, it's good but not quite the deal. The meat counter is full as well the produce department. This whole store is full! Best part, the help is friendly and simply nice.Easy in and out, it's right on Reservation Rd.

Never again! I have not gone to this place for months because they are never friendly if you're Mexican American. I've seen them be super friendly to other people just not me. I smile and say hello but nothing. Today was no different. Food is ok. Sometimes you just want Mexican food and you will deal with poor customer service because it's close and convenient. Never again. I bought carnitas. Look how much FAT was in my piece! My piece weighed .86 pounds. How much did the fat weigh? The guy before me had the fat trimmed off his carnitas. Not me. I wasn't that lucky. Not worth the trouble for mediocre food. I guess I don't need to eat this type of food and universe is sending me signs to stay away! Taking the hint! ;)

El Rancho is always my go-to spot for meat, dulce de Mexico, and burritos. The men and women behind the deli counter are always attentive and friendly. The burritos are delicious and they are very generous with their servings. One burrito could literally last you all day. I've infrequently bought produce here and have never had problems with "bad" produce, but your mileage may vary. I recommend the following to try: carne asada/Chile Verde/carnitas burrito, carnitas by the pound, chicharrones, and their tamales.
