After being told "just because you see it online doesn't mean we have it in store" by another Ralphs, i tried this location. What i ordered was a shark birthday cake. well this Ralphs also called and said they didn't have shark decorations and i was mad, and i let them know. but it was too late to order from anywhere else so i said do what we you think, and to my surprise the baker hand painted a really cute shark on the cake! and the way the frosting looked like water was awesome! I don't know her name, but i wish i did and want to just say thank you to whoever was in the bakery on June 16! i loved my cake so much!!!

This review doesn't reflect the entire store, just one racist supervisor named Veronica. She is so rude and unprofessional toward guests, especially anyone of color or considered a minority. If you are not Caucasian or of Mexican descent, do not expect honorable and fair customer service. She will tell you not to return to "her store," and she uses racial slurs, blatant and microaggressive terms to your face as if you're vermin or less than human beneath her. I have witnessed her speak poorly to even elderly people. Despite reporting her to the Kroger corporation a year ago, her behavior has only gotten worse, which tells you the feedback is not working or the company isn't even trying to discipline her. Most of the young staff at the store appear intimidated and fearful of her bullying language and tactics. The store manager Manny is kind and fair; however, she will deny you access to him in person and by phone and state every minute of the day, "he is in meetings, while staff looks on, afraid to intervene knowing she lies to customers." We all know people who hate other cultures, such as Asian, Jewish, Indian, African American, and even Afro-Latina, for no reason and speak down to them honestly hate themselves and have low self-esteem. They try to use power to make themselves feel better or higher than others, even in a $ 25-an-hour grocery store position, which is so sad. However, the MDR community should not have to endure her personal insecurities, bias, and hate, especially while spending our hard-earned money. Kroger, do something and weed out this bad apple from the barrel of an otherwise pleasant place to shop. Don't let her union allow her to hide behind customer complaints, nasty communication and poor performance! There are no Ralphs without customers, not to mention her behavior based on race is ILLEGAL! What are you waiting for, a Lawsuit??

Once upon a time, I bought stock in the company because I liked this store so much. Now it's terrible - rude employees, frequently out of items, and this morning they refused to open even one cashier. They've even overcharged me a couple times. (People, save your receipts and check them) Way to go totally ghetto, Ralphs. They lost my business for good today. I ended up stopping at a health food store on the way home and got all my items for cheaper AND yummy prepared food.

They have the rudest staff at night I've ever seen. They should worry less about their gender identity and focus on running a grocery store. This used to be the nice Ralph's. Now it as getto as it gets. But it's what people have allowed to happen. California is dead.

This is a really low-end Ralph's. We shop here only because it is convenient, and buy only the basics. The meat in general is pretty mediocre, so we buy that at the much nicer Pavilion's.Service is hit or miss. There are some good employees and some awful ones.It is regularly understaffed, and boyfriend routinely bags our groceries instead of waiting for the cashier to do it. Good luck finding an employee if you need something or have a question. There are at least two vehicles with homeless people living in them in the parking lot, and other homeless folks living on the store property. This store has really gone downhill in the last few years. They should change their name to Sad's, because that's how it makes me feel.Pro Tip: Go to the Ralph's on Admiralty Way in the Marina. Infinitely better.

The worst service/staff Cashiers will not make eye contact, nor call for a manager to help It is Sunday afternoon 2pm Ralphs store in Venice CA, on Lincoln Blvd.I have just stood inline by a cashier with a couple paying for 2 large orders with a cell phone app. After 25minutes of them still trying to figure it out I left without my groceriesNot once did the cashier pay ANY attention to me, nor the customers behind meJf you have nothing better to do than hang around in a shop where no staff offer to help, this is the place for youLife is too short to have to deal with disrespectful people.I went to Northgate Market on Inglewood, in Culver City where the staff are friendly, prices cheaper and equal quality. And the cashier lines are speedy, despite having far more customers in the store than Ralphs, Venice CA

I like RALPH'S and I shop there all of the time. I like the coupons I receive in the mail that reflect items I purchase all of the time, but I would much prefer double coupons like they used to have in the past. The help is satisfactory and the management is good for the most part and I'm happy to see there labor issues are now behind them with a new contract. My issue with this location is the miserable and failed deli operation. I used to be a member of the UFCW and I worked the deli counter for at least a decade along with fish and bakery. It is a hard job so I empathize with those who work in this department. It is now months, if not more than a year this deli department remains dysfunctional and mismanaged and it is obvious they do not have a direct manager to supervise the operation. The department lacks staffing and there is only one (1) long-time employee I can identify having shopped here for decades. It is a revolving door of poorly trained employees that lack any guidance as to what is important and that is customer service first. Keep the lines from forming and listening to what they customer orders and how much. There seems to be no direction and it's gotten to the point that the department closes by 5PM and then you're forced to purchased the pre-cut, Boar's Head items which are not always fresh!RALPH'S is missing the boat on fixing this obvious problem. A good deli department can be a boom to the store's bottom-line and all you need to do is visit BAY CITIES in Santa Monica just down the way on Lincoln to see a successful deli counter hum! Why not steal or recruit someone from BAY CITIES? Working at RALPH'S is a union scale job and if run correctly, you can build a catering revenue as well to say nothing of increased sandwich sales or putting a booth in the parking lot during the summer months for sandwiches and salads alike!Management needs to finally fix this obvious problem by hiring an experienced working deli manager who leads by example and can get some competent staffing because what you have now is rudderless and is hurting the RALPH'S brand and reputation. I will continue to shop at RALPH'S, but what the hell are they waiting for to address this disaster at the deli counter? Enough is enough!

Bought two packets of pens, on special, at Ralph's. They failed to meet my expectations. They were dried out and didn't write that well. I think they were not filled with ink but old carbon that doesn't write a full line. It is very expensive to buy products that don't work and then have to throw them away, which is what I will have to do.

The management is rude, they closed the deli counter at 6:30 even though the sign says 9pm and when I asked JOHN about it, his response was quite rude and so was the response from the girl behind the counter. The other Ralph's are much friendlier. Stay away from John, he's angry and rude.

I opened a checking and savings account last December 2019. I had thought I had found a great bank with ease of use and great service. I was very much mistaken, the service is really bad in helping the customers. Recently I made a larger deposit and the usual partial hold over 10 days I was ok with. However I already had a significant bank balance in the account for which I had to make a mortgage payment to another financial institution. US Bank notified me my account was far in the negative and had returned to other lender institution for non sufficient funds. I received a bank alert and then spent the next several hours on the phone and then at the branch last Friday to clear up what should have been a simple mistake on US Banks part. Nobody has yet to give me a clear answer from this branch and upon calling US Bank Customer Support direct they give me more clarity that the Branch Manager is the only one who can clear this matter. The Branch is saying the opposite that is the back end that needs to clear it. I have to say, this is the worst in all my years in dealing with a financial institution that does not have their information correct and is causing me additional frustration and stress. Needless to say I will be closing my accounts with US Bank very soon.
