Last time I ordered from this company they had pork, this store doesn't sell pork. I might have to go back to studio city to get the better meat! Then I get home and I get chicken with no extra guacamole or sour cream! They mustn't have wanted me to return!

For the 2nd time, I was turned away at lunchtime on a Saturday because they had too many orders. Anyone who walked in was refused service. Now, they said they had an order for over 200 individual plates. I'm not sure why they would accept such a large order to serve 200 that wasn't a catering order. I'm not sure how you stay in business if you continually turn away regular customers. The restaurant was empty other than myself and a family of 3. I had travelled over 30 minutes to go to this Sharkeys because I do love the food. However, the real issue was the response from the staff. I'm sure they were overwhelmed and I absolutely respect that. But the attitude they gave was basically "Go F yourself." The man working the counter was cold as ice, he couldn't care less. Like most food service workers, I'm sure they are overworked and under paid. I have nothing but respect for them. I'm also a damn good tipper. Another customer and I tried to reason with them to no avail. As we were leaving the other man said, "I'd be afraid to come back here after that reaction. I'm afraid they would spit in our food." No exaggeration here. Simple truth. The last time this happened, I spoke to the owner. He said it would never happen again. And yet it did. If you are not hungry and happen upon this Sharkeys, go for it - great food! If you are planning a trip here, simply don't do it. Don't waste your time.

Absolutely horrible.. I think I just paid $20 for a burrito made with rotten meat.. It tasted rotten, and thats why the hostess made sure I went to the salsa bar so I could load up on salsa to disguise the taste... BEWARE!!..Tony, there is really nothing to discuss.. I don't want a refund.. I took my chances on a restaurant in my neighborhood I had never been to before.. Should have known better as soon as I saw that you were almost empty at 8pm on a Saturday night.. And don't try to tell me I don't know what rotten meat tastes like.. Perhaps it wasn't completely green when it landed on the grill, but it was green enough for me.. I wish you the best, and I do hope that you are able to improve the quality of the food.. maybe I just got a bad cut of some questionable meat.. It would make sense to take food a little past the due date to save some money or to make a little extra.. Regardless I won't be coming back.. Just don't want anyone else to have my experience.. And I definitely wouldn't want someone getting sick..

Man, this place is def nicer than I ever thought. The service is great, they are so friendly. The food is fresh, the chips were so good and the salsa bar was great. Blew away all my expectations. I'll try my best to come back once in a while!

Nice little spot in the arts district. I was craving some fish tacos and was hoping this place could deliver, and it definitely did. It was a bit quiet when we showed up but it's Thursday so that's to be expected. I saw they had some wild-caught fish tacos and found them to be exactly what I was looking for. Great quality food here. Pretty good service here as well, I had some questions and he answered everything that I had. Not a bad place to swing by if you get a chance.

Sharkys is a Marina staple for locals. Located right besides Pavillions this restaurant has plenty of parking. Clean, organic food, and great service. The people working here are always nice and kind and always there to lend a helping hand when we stroll in with the kiddos. All of the food makes you feel healthy, and doesn't compromise too much on flavor. Although both my husband and our friends alike agree that Sharkys could up their flavor game. It may state Mexican food, but the food and the flavor definitely have more of a TexMex flare. This is not all too terrible if you're looking for mildly seasoned food, but if we're going to call this joint Mexican food, then you better believe I'm going to expect some spice and essence to come along for the ride, and Sharkys does NOT deliver in that capacity. -1 Star Cheers to good, healthy eats Yelpers xx

First let me say the chicken burrito was good. The reason for the two stars is that Sharky's will not secure their bags that food arrives in. This isn't the first time and it will certainly be the last. We've called and expressed this to management and they obviously do not care that our food is unsecured when it's delivered. All we are asking is for staff to staple or tape the bag closed. After seeing what the one food delivery driver did to some customers food by eating the food before he delivered, it should be enough for everyone to secure their food for delivery or carry out. The incident made the news as it was on camera. Be better, do better for paying customers who are asking for our food to be secured/closed/taped Or stapled.

Update!Manager, Tony, was kind enough to reach out to me. Will consider attending again and give an update.Early Review:Food has gone down (not the staff’s fault, this is corporate’s decision). The ingredients were changed (rarely no flavor). And items that normally were included in meals now costs extra (example, small sour cream dip is $1.37). Like, what????!This review is for corporate. We used to be regulars and loved your food. But you got greedy and cut corners with the flavors, making it bland. Please go back to the original flavors. This explain the lack of attendance at the restaurant. Don’t get cheap with quality, especially if you are charging a lot. Can’t recommend any items until the flavors come back.

Weird vibe in this place. Kinda messy with garbage boxes on the dining tables. The food was okay. The setup stinks, having to self-serve for a bunch of stuff. Crappy 'napkins' that really in most businesses would be used for the cleaning staff, I guess, certainly not for a meal. Also, if you serve wine, I don't care if you want to charge another buck or two, but it's really rude to serve someone 3 gulps and call it a glass of wine. You're paying for buffet-style dining at regular restaurant prices. Yes, they bring you the food, but you are on your own for everything else, especially condiments which are not looking so sanitary nor is the multi-beverage machine.
