I like it so much I took the time to write a review. Their place in Marina del Rey is clean and organized, customer service is good and friendly. They kept me up to date and returned the car to me earlier. The work done was perfect and they even washed my car. I already recommended to my wife and a friend.

I waited 10 days for an appointment to get an estimate for repairs to my 2022 Toyota Highlander. My car was damaged by another driver who's insurance was covering the bill. I went to the auto repair facility the insurance company recommended but doing my due diligence I wanted a couple other estimates so I could compare repair recommendations, This is a new car and I wanted the repairs done correct and done well. I decided to get an estimate from Marina Auto Body because of prior positive experiences with them (I use to work at a business that was near them). Before providing me with an estimate Chrissy at Marina Auto Body reached out to the adjuster on the case asking for the estimate from the first body shop I went to which the adjuster didn't have yet because I hadn't decided what repair facility I was using. The adjuster explained even if she had it she wouldn't be releasing it to another shop, when I asked why Marina auto body might need it the adjuster said she had no clue.I don't know what Chrissy/Marina Auto Body's goal was but my goal is to get a estimate for repairs to my vehicle but they refused. I know I have the right to get the repairs done at the facility of my choice. I even asked if i could have an estimate as a cash paying customer to which she told me no. I was basically begging to give them my business and they wouldn't even give me the time of day.Take your business elsewhere, maybe to someone that will actually appreciate it.

Service recovery. I was concerned about how long it was taking to get the part because of the cost of the rental car while my car was in the shop I needed the cost of the total accident to stay under a certain limit so my insurance would not raise my rates. I spoke to Juan at the repair shop about my concern and he helped expedite my repair. I was completely satisfied at the end.Note: If your car needs a part, wait until the part is in before dropping off your car for the repair.Services: Painting

I took my vehicle to Marina Auto Body as a preferred member with my insurance. Another vehicle hit me - welcome to LA - I incurred a lot of stress because they (the other party) lied, etc. This was back in August 2022. I paid my deductible and everything was settled - car repaired, picked up.... Fast forward to today. I received a call/vm out of the blue from Juan at Marina Auto Body - I'm at work and check the message - also in process of qualifying to buy a house.Voicemail - You have a balance due that wasn't paid and if you don't pay if after we attempt to call you, it will go to collections...Really??? 8 months later after no contact, deductible paid, no vms, emails from my insurance or Marina Auto Body and they say I owe money and its going to collections???When I called them back to inquire 1. If there was balance due why did they wait 8 months later to notify me.2. Why the hell would you leave a voicemail scaring somebody about collections and it's the first call you make to them about a potential amount due that they were never contacted about before?He said he was just doing his job - what??? 8 months later still insisting that I owed the money. He said that my insurance company told them that I received a check for little over $300 and cashed it and was supposed to give it to them. I contacted my insurance company to see what was going on. They told me that they mailed the check for $300 plus directly to the Marina Auto Body not to me - so they lost the check??? idk - it had nothing to do with me.I will never take my vehicle back there - you don't call somebody 8 months later with some nonsense that someone wasn't even aware of or responsible for and scare them with collections. What's wrong with yall???

Incredible staff! I had the opportunity to work with Matthew and one other employee during my most recent visit. Not only did they walk me through my estimate and explain all the charges, but they did not pressure me to move forward. They truly wanted me to walk away understanding the necessary repairs, and be able to make an informed decision that worked the best for me. Special shout out to Matthew, who took his time to take an even closer look at the damage on my car and brainstorm alternatives. I don't remember the last time I visited a car repair place with such stellar customer service.

This was the recommended facility by Mercury Insurance to repair my car. Have tried contacting them for a week, via email and phone calls, no one ever picked up the phone, or replied to email messages. Mercury insurance tried contacting them as well, to no avail.Mercury ended up asking me to take my car to a body shop of my choice, since they were irresponsive. I am not a fan of leaving reviews such as these, but not even a call back or reply even over a month later?I'm glad Mercury gave me another choice.

I know it's expensive to repair cars but the lack of communication and the fact MAB has had the vehicle for almost 40 days is beyond comical. Especially for a fender-bender. No accountability nor communication to keep us apprised of progress. Seek other's for your auto body needs.

A 40+ year old business should not be considered a "best kept secret" because it is no secret that this is one of the best body shops in Southern California. The work they perform is outstanding and the level of customer service between owner and staff is simply exceptional. They go above and beyond any others and I cannot think of enough superlatives to accurately describe my experiences over the years.

A curved strip of metal on the road boomeranged into the side of my car & left white nicks/scrapes on the driver & passenger side door. They were minor scratches but I'm a bit OCD about my possessions. Out of curiosity, I went to Marina Auto Body to get an estimate to repair the scratches. Matt was kind & friendly & explained the work that would be done. I didn't realize the amount of work that would be required & would cost more than what I expected. I appreciate his honesty & not trying to push me into making a decision. Heaven forbid, I experience more extensive body damage, I will definitely go to Marina Auto Body.
