Bad customer service. The guy that tried make a lot assumptions about my tires without even looking into the tires properly.

I came here looking to get my tires replaced. The guy who talked to me was extremely condescending, but as a young woman getting a car serviced, this is unfortunately common and unsurprising. However, what was off was that he continued on and asked weird questions, made invasive assumptions/projected, and when I asked him to stop, took it upon himself to call me slurs. This took me by surprise and in hindsight, I wish I got his name to warn ppl from going here + report, but in the moment, I just wanted to get away. He was a slightly older man who was bald if that’s any referencial help. But I’d be careful coming here, or better yet, take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of other affordable tire shops with similar hours in this area too! Also @ this costco location, y’all should look into this employee’s behavior.

I got a couple of tires at Costco and did my shopping while they were installed. It was slow. I still had to wait for quite a while after doing the shopping. And they insisted on putting the new tires on the rear instead of the front as I requested.

They refunded my tire that blew out but promptly there was a new indicator light after they did the work and the guy was like oh I don't know that's not my problem now you have to take it to a mechanic. I called the mechanic and he said you'd be surprised how uneducated some of the people there (costco) are. You should know the risks and lights that might go on after you do work on people's cars. Full stop. They also failed to call me to let me know that they would be finishing my car 2 hours after the promise time. This isn't a doctor's appointment where it could go unexpectedly longer. These things take a totally predictable amount of time to do. Davitt was the one who was like IDK about the indicator light

The service techs are knowledgeable and helpful, Dawitt was great he explained the service in detail and helped me get back on the road with my flat tire.

This place is the worst. They won’t answer their phone. When you get there, they will wake you wait twice as long and charge you twice as much as everyone else. It’s crazy that Costco has not kicked them out yet as everyone has the same complaints. You’ve been warned..stay away!! And shame on you Costco for letting this shop ruin your good name.

I would like to share my recent experience with purchasing and installing tires at your facility. I recently bought 4 tires and attempted to have them installed at your service center on two separate occasions. The first time I visited for installation, I was told to wait 6 hours or to schedule the next available appointment, which was not until a week later. This was quite inconvenient, but I decided to return at another time. However, during my second visit, I was informed that I was 15 minutes late and now had to wait for three hours. In reality, I arrived on time, but due to the inability to find a parking spot at your location for 30 minutes, I was effectively “late.”This experience was quite disappointing. I hope that the appointment and installation process can be improved in the future to make it more convenient for your customers. And do something with your parking lot! Its always fully packed!

To be honest, I didn't have the best experience here. I was given incorrect prices on tires. I brought my car in to get one of the tires plugged and got my car back with 2 missing caps (the pressure caps on the tire), they did not put the cover back on in my trunk and left everything out and open, and did not reset my car tire pressure because they said they couldn't find it. (it was literally right next to my steering wheel I really don't know how they couldn't have found it) I get that it could have been a busy day, but that is not an excuse for this type of unprofessionalism. I literally had to go out of my way multiple times.I want to get my tires changed, but honestly after that experience, I wouldn't trust them with installing my tires. I'd rather go somewhere else.

3x I had to go back to find out they don't but tires(that I waited 11 days for after I special ordered them) on a 2015 Corvette. NOONE there thought of letting me know that the first time I was there. Unbelievable!

I paid for a tire repair and booked an appointment. First off the kid behind the counter changed my apt to a tire rotation. Which I didn’t need. I have a nail in my tire and I requested a service to patch the tire if possible. They contacted me to tell me I could come early to get my tire fixed sooner. Great! I showed up early and they started my car 30 minutes after my original time….. I arrived an hour early…It gets worse. When I was talking with the service tech, I asked if they were able to repair the tire or locate the nail. He responded by telling me “ I was able to put air in the tire and it holds air so there is no problem”.After I get my car back I locate the tire and the NAIL was still in the tire. I was dumbfounded. This is the dumbest car service I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been to a lot of tire shops and mechanics and this was the most I competent service I’ve ever seen. Also I was planning on buying 4 new tires this week. I just needed to get my tire patched so I could commute to and from work between appointments. Looks like I’m canceling my tire purchase.

I have used the Costco Tire Center - Culver City in the past and had no hesitation in ordering my tires and getting them installed while I did some shopping.Tires came in, booked an appointment and the car was in the bay within 5 minutes of the appointment time - all good so far. Within 30 minutes got a call that the car was ready. That was when the fun started. While my car is old, it is in pristine shape. I take care of my vehicles. I had brought my own air pressure gauge, breaker bar and torque wrench just to be safe. All four tires were over inflated by 10 pounds each and the wheels were way over torqued. Thankfully I had my own tools to correct the situation but what was the most frustrating is that the torque and air pressure specs were are on the order sheet. To make matters worse - the wheels came back with scratches and the key fob was broken. Costco charges $80 for the installation. Whoever the tech was who did the install should be fired. I understand that changing tires all day is not the greatest job but to put people back in their cars with over inflated tires is unacceptable and dangerous. Zero professionalism and accountability.
