After a considerable wait Friday morning at 10:30 someone came to get me the two bottles of rum I wanted. I get to the only cashier, very long line, and one bottle had been sold to someone else. The cashier, instead of saying I can ring up two and send someone to get another one, said you can go wait by the rum again and get back in line. What more can I say?

Is Safeway policy to ask a 64 year old to take their CA drivers lic. Out of their wallet to be scanned? With 10 people in line behind me , at 5 pm , perhaps opening another check stand would help? I was told “it’s me or self check out” , after I asked for the people waiting behind me, some with full carts, . ( I had groceries too, but can’t buy beer at self checkout) … next time I’ll skip it and buy the beer at the chevron station. Good selection of food,, I like the produce dept, don’t go for the service though.

Michelle should not be a manager, I went to pick up balloons and the person was not there. Her response to me was "I don't keep track of their schedules" didn't try to assist me or anything. Horrible, Horrible experience!

Absolutely terrible customer service in the bakery. I'm here on Easter waiting to pick a cake for my family and all the customers are standing and waiting for someone to help. Not one employee is offering to help any of us and refuse to make eye contact with any of us. We have been standing here for quite a while and decided to get the rest of our groceries and come back. I came back and there are no customers waiting but still the 2 ladies behind the counter are not offering to help me. Another customer came over and ask if we were waiting and we said yes. Then the employee walks over and asks him if she can assist him! I'm typing this as I still stand here waiting to be assisted.

Items are overpriced and my last time there, they shut all the registers down except one and it took over a half hour of waiting to buy two items. Why didn't they at least leave the self checkout section open? The line was from lane 6 almost all the way to the bakery.

This place is not honor the price they offer in the weekly advertising.this is the second time this happened.in advertising its no limit on chips but when I go there the clerk said you can only get three bags and they said the advertising is nationwide but they don't accept.i was really upset and I didn't buy anything.
