Don't ever buy gift cards here. I went in on a Sunday 10/15/23 for groceries and a VISA gift card. The gift card was activated for $500. I gifted the card to a friend who got married the following Friday. My friend returned the card and said there was no funds on it. I went on the VISA website and saw that the card was activated 3 days after I bought it and the $500 was taken out. I called Safeway, they stated there has been a huge increase in gift card fraud that they see people taking the cards home and returning them to the rack, they try to remove the cards off the rack when they can. Safeway stated there is nothing they can do to contact VISA. Safeway is knowingly selling compromised gift cards and don't care! I'll never go into a Safeway again not even for groceries.

This pharmacy has lost my business due to a particular female pharmacist repeatedly harassing both myself and another family member on several separate occasions about WHY we were prescribed a medication and how she could not fill it until she spoke to the doctor. She tried to tell me that I was being flagged because I had previously ordered a xanax prescription a YEAR AGO (for six pills), and now currently I was being prescribed 2 pills of ativan to take prior to a surgical procedure. I hardly think that taking a total of 8 pills over the course of a year makes me a "red flag" addict. She pulled the same invasive questioning and lecturing and personal judgement on my family member who also was being prescribe a ONE TIME USE dosage. Talk about a pharmacist with a power trip. I'll never use this pharmacy again and will never recommend that anyone else go here either unless you want to be judged and questioned about medications that were prescribed to you by your medical provider. Apparently, this pharmacist thinks she knows what's better for me than my own physician.

Great pharmacy!! William and Molly are wonderful and so helpful! If you come here you will not be disappointed! They are fast and ALWAYS professional. There staff and visiting pharmacists are great as well!!

The only reason why they're getting one star is because they won't let me give them zero stars so 7 PM I came in to get a little can for my mom I sent there for over 10 to 15 minutes at first until I called on my own cell phone to the curtaincy desk to request someone to come and help me and other customers that had been waiting. Manager Misty walked up already have an attitude and explain to her and been there how long and all I wanted was a cake and what she said to me was well the bakeries close and I have worked in a safe way and I have never told a customer all we can't help you just because the bakery is closed Manager sent us there we help them the best we could and we had them happy when they left. Continue to tell me how she's never worked in that department but I know the all managers if needed have to go where they're needed so the fact that you don't know or even or aware of what is in the star shame on you I think you need to go back to training and the fact that when I told her I worked at a Safeway I hear that she clown complaining saying that I was rude but all I wanted to do was purchase a cake and when I asked her what kind of cake that was inside her reply was I don't know I told you I don't work in the bakery. Again you're in management so if you are that way then your staff will be that way correct. Her other reply was oh that's how you talk to people I said well I've been standing here waiting and you're not very accommodating and I'm not the only one they had been waiting management or somebody in the store had been called several times and nobody had came over. Let me remind you the store was not even busy at all there was not one line it was very very empty so I don't understand why we couldn't get somebody over there sooner. I would rather go to a save Mart or Raleys which I will do from now on just because the way I was treated 7 PM I remind you and the Bakery was already closed. So thank you Misty for making my experienced the shittiest experience I've ever had and again Misty I think you should be retrained

Just went there to buy sushi rice the guy that makes sushi said Safeway don't sell it there went home and ordered it on Amazon won't bother going back to Safeway to look for special items

I went into Safeway the yesterday and got a couple things from deli Britany was the person that helped me she was very friendly and helped me right away. She was also the only one that was working at the time everyone was in the back doing nothing. She called for help a number of times but no one helped. She is awesome. I would only go there if she's there great customer service She needs to be promoted

I would be very careful getting anything from the Deli, I just watched the lady (Anette) that works here serve 2 people from the cold case (salads) without putting on gloves, before serving them she was on the back, who knows what she was doing back there and she didn't even go to the sink and wash her hands. After that she went back into the back to do whatever and came out to cut cold cuts for someone else this time she had gloves on but did not change them, did not wash her hands again.... Definitely going someplace else to get my cold cuts. Almost forgot, when I told customer service they said they will need to let the manager know and then went back into the office and never called anyone to go take care of this.... 20 minutes later she is still doing the same thing and no one cares enough to send the manager over to stop it fro continuing.

I work as a shopper for the instacart and often come to this store and never had a problem until yesterday with one of the cashier name Ruth i ask her to not to put all the heavy item in one bag and she got so upset she didnt want to bag my grocery so i had to bag them myself and she was very rude and to me in front of other customer very upsitting to me. If she treat others this way and gets away with it all the tine the moral of this place is terible. She should be fired i think so she never treats anyone else this way.

I went in to get a deli sandwich. 2 employees were working the deli counter and there were no other customers. Both employees started arguing over who would help me. Apparently it was not their "job" or they were too "busy". I left without buying anything and went to Save Mart where a very nice person made my sandwich and it was $1 cheaper. I know where I am going next time.
