I needed to replace an engine in my Toyota Camry and these guys were great from the begining. Went out of there way to pick up the vehicle for me and bring to there shop they didn't need to do that but they did anyways. They completed the engine work and went above and beyond what I was expecting . The vehicle feels brand new. I'm very grateful for the fair and professional work. I will be going back for future work.thank you.

Highly recommend this shop! After dealing with another shop and the other drivers insurance for 4 months, Phil and his crew were able to get it handled for me in a week or so! Always communicating, friendly, and knowledgable. 10/10.

I recently took my vehicle to Phil's Auto and Fleet Repair, and I couldn't be happier with the service! Phil provided exceptional service at a fair price, and he truly knows his stuff. He took the time to explain what needed to be done and completed the work quickly. The quality of his repairs was top-notch. I highly recommend Phil's for anyone in need of reliable auto repair. I'll definitely be returning for any future needs!

Phil's Auto Clinic is my new go-to! I can't recommend them enough after my experience.
For the longest time, I felt like I was throwing money away at the dealership. Visit after visit, problem after problem – it was always something new, and nothing ever seemed to get truly fixed. Tune-ups, battery replacements, spark plugs, transmission service, fuel system cleaning... you name it, they did it, and my car still wasn't right. The final straw was when my starter started to go out, with the original issue still unresolved.
That's when I found Phil's. They didn't just fix the major issues I came in with; they also addressed a weird shaking that I hadn't even mentioned. Driving home, it felt like I had a brand new car! So grateful I found this place.

I happened into Phil's Auto with a bad fan clutch bearing while traveling from Redding to Los Angeles. Vincent said it would be $145.00 for a diagnosis which I agreed to pay. The diagnosis included a thermostat replacement, a water pump replacement, a fan clutch and bearing replacement and a belt replacement totaling $1645.00. This work would take at least a day, Vincent said, but he could get it done in a day if I was willing to pay an extra $145.00 because his mechanic would have to work through his lunch. At this point I decided to tow it to another shop closer to home. This shop replaced the fan clutch bearing and replaced the belt. The work was done in one hour and the bill was $275.00. My opinion is Phil's Auto and Fleet is a predatory business willing to take advantage of a stranded motorist. They got $145.00 out of me for nothing but popping the hood. Total rip off. And btw, after I decided to tow my car Vincent came out and altered the estimate, reducing the price by $500.00. I'm not sure what kind of scam he's got going but I'm glad I got outta there.

Phil's Auto has consistently taken care of my car since Bill retired (Auto Affair). My commuter Toyota is a 2010. While at almost 200,000 miles and still in great running condition, there are a few things here and there that have worn out and need updating. My shocks and struts, front left axle, brakes, and a vacuum leak are a few issues they have taken care of for me. The most recent issue I had was a little costly. They worked with me on the cost and I was able to get it taken care of in a price range I could afford. Vince is the one I usually deal with at the front counter. He's always so nice and happy to help with all of my questions. Phil, the owner, is very understanding and knowledgeable. I haven't met any of the others but they are always in the garage, hard at work. I'm happy to say I've finally found a trustworthy mechanic!

I felt like I paid too much! First he wanted $2500 to start the job. Didnt bother telling me they wanted a deposit until i was already there. Very unprofessional. First quote, Almost $4000 rebuild my rear differential. When they got to taking a look it at it they said it only needed a carrier seal. $1700. Brake adjustment $140? And how do you adjust brakes with a bad abs module? Which they wanted $ 800+ to repair. It's a $400 part! So they're telling me it's $400 labor? Major ripoff! Ended up paying over $2800 mostly for labor. I definitely won't go there again.

I found Phil's Auto and Fleet Repair on Yelp when I put information into the "Project" option. We were in need of replacing the brakes on one of our vehicles, so I put in the information and I was matched with Phil's (and a few other businesses). I received a lot of responses from several businesses, but because of the reviews I had seen about Phil's, I selected to go with their offer. I was able to pass messages back and forth with Vincent who was also able to message with me beyond the time frame of their business being open (this was a HUGE plus due to my busy schedule while at work). I was able to respond to his questions about my vehicle so that he could give me an accurate quote to replace the brakes on my car. Not only was communication a strong-point, but Vincent told me that if I got my car to them at the beginning of the day (tomorrow morning), he was pretty sure he would be able to have it done by the end of the day. I dropped my car off with them slightly after 8am, checked my car in within minutes, and took off to run other errands. Vincent messaged me within only about three hours to let me know that my car was ready to be picked up. I was absolutely blown away that they had finished my car so quickly. I have been driving my car with the new brakes for about two weeks now and I have to say...I am 100% satisfied with the work (and my entire experience)! I am already in further communications with Phil's to see about two other repairs needed on our cars because I think I have found my place to take my cars! If you are in need of any work on your car(s), give these guys a look! They work on anything and everything (car-wise as well as job-wise). Thank you Phil's Auto and Fleet Repair!! See you soon (not that I want to, but I appreciate the great work and the solid experience)!

We had a 2017 Ram Truck eco diesel that is a lemon. While under warranty Dodge Ram of Elk Grove would not do another repair of the engine turbo and stonewalled use for 6 months untill we hired a lemon lawyer. Phil's documented and repaired all the issues that the dealer lied about why they would not repair the truck under warranty. The dealer never reported this issue to the extended warranty provider because if they repaired it was admission of selling a lemon since the previous owner had the engine rebuilt 2 times. We were not aware of this on purchase. With all the documentation at Phil's we proved the dealership lied and they were wrong. Phil's works on many diesel trucks Elk Grove Dodge Ram dealer fail to repair properly. I highly recommend Phils.
