I needed help to find certain wet kitten food, but there was no one to help me. I did see several men talking and laughing inside a room that I believe to be your receiving/inventory room I really do not know if they were associates of Petco, but if they were, they clearly saw me going back and forth, row to row, without anyone offering assistance. The cashier was okay, though he did not greet me or ask if I had found everything I needed, like PetSmart does. Petco could stand some improvement

I took my dog in to get groomed before a trip we're taking on Friday and not even an hour later I got a call from the groomer. I was told that he was being difficult today and he wouldn't let them shave his legs so we needed to pick him up. This is the second time this happens. I took my Snorkie puppy in when she was about 5 months old and when I got there, they told me she "wasn't letting them" cut her hair, but they bathed her; that time they charged me in full. I used to go to a groomer who knew how to handle them, regardless of them being fussy, but she moved and I started going to petco, so this isn't the first time I take him there. Now I have to buy clippers and do it myself as I can't find a groomer that will take him tomorrow, Thursday is a holiday and I leave Friday, so they just wasted my time. If you plan on taking your dog here for grooming, just know it may be a waste of time/money because if the groomer is inexperienced or incompetent you'll end up with a dog that's shaved a quarter of the way.

This place sucks, customer service is no help, and their all rude. Missed a pick up window time on my item, came to pick it up because my app told me it's still there for pick up, told me it's refunded (got no email) used my rewards, they told me I have to call customer service to get it back. So you took my rewards without giving my product. Don't shop here, worst customer service around

I took my sweet 4yr old 5lb male Maltese who couldn’t hurt a fly and has NEVER acted out for a groom and cut at this location. The groomer ended up cutting him and drew blood and called me right away, she said I can pick him up and she would not charge me for the cut and serviceLater I came to find out that she marked on my account that the dog bit her and she let the owner know and the owner did not pay for the service. The note is permanently on my account for any petco I go to now and my account is blocked because of her lie

I paid full price for mealie worms that were fifty percent off , the one and only fruit fly culture you had was bad . No flies in it . But 50 percent off lol that’s crazy. Last time I went to buy an urchin for my reef tank they didn’t want to put it a bag . They wanted to sell me a critter container for an extra 20 bucks . Not sure why I still go here

The few times I've visited this location I've felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. The employees are always huddled together and disregard customers all together. As other reviews have stated the woman that works there by the name of "Jennifer" is extremely rude and unapproachable. She pays no mind to customers and god forbid you even walk in the same direction of her. I'm a very forgiving, understanding, and open minded person. I try to give people the benefit of doubt and I just kept telling myself maybe she's having a bad day? But it's the same interaction any time I go in. We all have things going on outside of work and we all have "off" days. I understand what it's like to be unhappy at a job, but maybe if you're feeling that miserable consider another line of work? I work in retail myself and the way the entire staff at this location treats customers is disappointing. The only positive to this location is how well the animals are cared for. They all seem healthy and habitats are clean. Hopefully the business owners take a look at what similar reviews are stating and some changes are made soon. Customers come in to my job all the time and complain about this particular location. Yikes.

Had to wait 5 minutes for check out. No other customers were in line. Instead employees were at fish tanks talking and laughing. I kindly asked if someone could assist me in checkout.

I wouldn't recommend grooming there ONLY IF you have a hyper dog. We have a large very hyper friendly dog. As it was explained to me, he didn't want to go into a kennel so they put him in a smaller crate? Evidently, our dog kept hitting his head on the crate so he has a scab on top of his head now. They did clean our dog and for that I'm grateful. I know our dog isn't easy to deal with, so I'm not at all knocking the groomer. (She did her best. ) I just wish they were more prepared or better trained with dogs such as ours.
