Ruthie worked miracles today with my Wheaton terrier. High strung. Anxious. Biting. Etc. Before Ruthie we had to sedate her to groom her. Ruthie took control with firmness and kindness and did a full grooming in an hour. She is very knowledgeable and confident. I highly recommend her and be using her again. Fair pricing also.

Took my pup here, never again!!!!!! Lady is rude, bad attitude! why you in this business, she did a horrible job on my dog, uneven shave and he was still wet when I got him back. She never trimmed his nails liked I asked, but I guess I'm glad she didn't because she probably would cut his paws as I seen in a recent review, I was lucky my pup was physically not hurt. Please rethink taking your furry baby here

We have been using this groomer for about a year without any issues. She is usual very good. However, this week when I went to pick her up she was very short with me grabbed her cash (because she won't except anything else) gave me my dog and closed the door. As we drove of I felt something wet on my arm, when I looked down I noticed blood on my arm and my dog's paw. She split her paw pad somehow and didn't even tell me. Tried to call her without success. Texted her asking what happened, no response.

Ruthie is alway friendly and Taz loves going to Ruthie. He looks amazing and we look forward to his visits and she is very affordable.

We had our baby girl, a Dutch Shepherd mix, groomed by Ruthie. She had never been to a place to be groomed. Upon arriving, Ruthie sat down and started petting our baby, making her feel relaxed. I felt better leaving her there. A few hours later, Ruthie texted me that our baby was done. She looked so clean, brushed and nails trimmed! Great job! We will definitely be returning for her grooming needs. The cost was cheaper than taking her to the vets just for a nail trim! I

Wonderful and great customer service. My babies were clean, nails done, and ears for cheaper than Manteca Vet - $60. Plus better customer service than the other groomer and more experienced.We loved the job she did? ??

My parents live in Manteca so whenever I visit I always make an appointment with Ruthie to groom my 2 Standard Poodles. I am a home groomer myself. My parents raised Poodles so I learned to groom at age 10, so many decades. But my back is getting bad so I when I can I will have my dogs professionally groomed. Ruthie is the only person I trust with my girls. I'm super picky. Groomers always cut the head wrong and shape the hocks incorrectly. Ruthie also owns Standard Poodles so she knows the proper way to scissor. Ruthie prices are also good. Where I live I've paid upwards of 160.00 per dog. Ruthie is much more affordable and does a better job.

Not only is the owner extremely rude and condescending, I started to realize my dog wasn't very safe with her. I gave her two shots with my small 5 pound maltese. Second time he came back with cuts all over from her "grooming" not to mention the fear he felt from her huge dogs.

I love this place, my mom originally took our late dog here for his nails to be trimmed, he would scream and cry everywhere else but here. Now I take my Pomeranian Mix and have had no issues.

The lady that works there or is the owner is very RUDE! Went in to get my dogs nails clipped for the first time and I didn't know I was suppose to wait outside, went in she wasn't around until I texted 10 minutes later that I was here. She came out and said you scared me no one is suppose to be inside, I apologized and she took my dog and cut her nails she did hurt her because she cried! She has never done that before. She said rudely now I have to sanitize everything because you came in, i stepped in to the building maybe 2 feet and AGAIN I said sorry I didn't see anything outside and your door wasn't locked. I had a mask on but what she needs to do is clean that whole place from top to bottom to get rid of the hair, webs mirrors, windows & dust, it's very dirty and I'm never going back!

My husband and I just started taking our two dogs to Pampered Paws and we are very impressed. Ruthie does a fantastic job with the dogs: they look great! Also, she is very kind and knowledgeable. And her rates are very reasonable.

Excellent!! I took my 7 month old pup for her first grooming and she came out beautiful and smelled really good. Ruthie was able to squeeze my pup in the same day and completed her in a hour, fastest grooming service ever (possibly because she so small). Ruthie is a veteran at her profession and taught me a thing or two on behavioral training. Im so glad we connected and will continue to take my pup to her. Happy dog mom

Ok this place cleaned and washed my dog nice and clean. However, the girl who groomed my dog shaved my dog's hair from behind and his stomach without my permission. I'm okay with trimming my pomeranian's hair but NOT SHAVING. Once a pomeranin's hair is shaved, it may or may not grow back the same anymore. Ever since she shaved him, the hair grows back weird and not the same. So if you guys are reading this, please make sure the person who is grooming your dog to LET YOU KNOW & ASK FOR PERMISSION FIRST BEFORE SHAVING YOUR DOG. It's just common courtesy to ask for permission before doing anything to our little animal I believe.

For a professional poodle groomer, Ruthie did a horrible job grooming my standard poodle. He was cut much too close in sensitive areas and had to be checked out by my veterinarian.
