I just wanted to express my gratitude to NorCal Muffler & Truck for assisting me with my concern. I came in asking for help regarding a catalytic converter serial number two days ago(it turns out my car didn’t have one), and the gentleman there had a look at my car and told me that the state referee would pass my car, because it appeared to be an original Honda part. That was true. I appreciate NorCal’s quick, professional, and articulate work.Best wishes

These people don’t know what a valve actuator simulator is. Came to get new mufflers installed and get the valve actuator simulator installed to prevent CEL on aftermarket exhaust without valves. They talk to me like I’m stupid by telling me my car doesn’t have valves and it doesn’t need to be installed when I told them clearly I was getting CELs for the actuator not being simulated as it would OEM, the response was “we couldn’t find it” when 6 months earlier the same people who installed my exhaust told me they tucked the actuator under the heat shield…and even then when I initially told them to install it they said the same thing. What a joke. Now I have to go to someone who knows what they’re talking about. If you drive foreign go to your local indy shops, these muffler places are only good for your regular cars and trucks.Update to response below:That’s not how I do business. If I pay you to do something I expect it done. Not tell me after I pay that it was not done. It is not a chip, there’s a pin that comes with the plate I included that when installed correctly and bolted on to actuator, allows the actuator to open and close as OEM..that is the definition of “actuator valve simulator”, it fakes the ecu into thinking the valves are still connected to an valved system. I offered a video to your mechanic and an explanation that was disregarded. There is nothing that needs to be changed with the tune, and a new exhaust is not needed. I called first thing this morning to schedule an appointment to have an exhaust leak checked out and repaired on my old quirky car. Someone promptly answered the phone and told me to come right in. As soon as I pulled up, I was impressed by the cleanliness and neatness of the property, shop and office. I entered the office where I was pleasantly greeted and asked for my keys. Car went right on to the lift and fixed within five minutes of my arrival. Key's were handed back to me and I was on my way. Awesome service! Highly recommend!Service: Exhaust

What a great shop! If you need muffler or exhaust work, these are your guys. They were super friendly and helpful when I went in. They talked me through my options and let me decide with a no pressure approach. The prices are more than fair and their work is even better. I was in and out in under 45 minutes for a FlowMaster install. Now my Tahoe sounds cherry! Thanks Norcal Muffler.

We brought our 2015 Jeep Wrangler in with a noisy exhaust leak. Brian and team quickly placed the vehicle on a lift and determined the problem was a simple bolt had worked its way loose. They tightened it up and sent me on my way… No charge! Almost unheard of these days. I would recommend NorCal to all my friends and family. Our Chevrolet Traverse ran over a metal object which caused a puncture in along the exhaust system. So glad to have found Norcal Muffler, I pulled up and they made it look so smooth and routine to patch it and get me out of there quickly. Much thanks to the team!
