I wish I would have found this service along time ago. Asher is friendly and helpful met me at an odd time of the day. Not just a 9 to 5 which is so helpful to people with busy schedules. Worst experience ever! I'm not the type to write reviews, yet this tax service is absolutely terrible. Complete lack of service and courtesy. Willing to take your money, yet not do the job properly. One advice...STAY AWAY. Avoid this individual at all costs.

Asher is incredibly smart and does amazing work. I'm a first time business owner and needed a bunch of help figuring out taxes and whatnot, he he guided me through everything and explained everything that I didn't understand. He's great at what he does and I 100 percent recommend his services

I didn't know this place existed until we decided to have someone new do our tax returns. Asher is professional and friendly, he made us comfortable immediately so we were off to a good start. He didn't disappoint, our tax returns have now been sent in so we're good for another year. We'll definitely be using Asher as our tax guy from here on out.

COSTLY and BAD experience with Asher Nar. I used his services in 2021 and was charged over $350 for preparing my 2020 taxes, with this price I though I was expecting accountability, experience and professionalism, but mostly taking care of my taxes based on the reviews he has. But, instead I got a letter from the IRS in October, 2022 stating that I had not filed my 2020 taxes, which I did with Asher. I immediately called him and he said that he had fix it and not to worry. Weeks later the IRS sent a letter with a charge of over $1000 for late filing. Again, I had contacted him , but in this case he didn't wanted to take responsibility for HIS LATE filing my taxes, when I had paid him to do it on time. Not only the IRS is charging me, but I had missed on the incentives given last year. He is UNPROFESSIONAL with NO ACCOUNTABILITY

I went to Asher after leaving my tax consultant from the Bay Area after trusting them for over ten years. I moved to Manteca and wanted some one I could trust for the same amount of time that could assist me in a first time rental property. We also have a large family and my tax return dynamics I thought were going to be way more complicated than they actually were. Asher gave me a consultation and I felt I definitely needed to go to him as there was never a feeling of pressure or obligation to go with him. This is actually a late post, but since I have actually called him for tax advice throughout the year and although its not tax season yet, he continues to help access our taxes. I already referred family and friends to him with rental property and similar tax situation as mine and we've found him to be professionally competent. Definitely check him out. Thanks Asher !

Never again. I would not recommend. He made nothing but mistakes on my taxes. Not only that he overbooks. I'm highly disappointed due to the mistake he made I received a notice in the mail from the IRS. But even before that he had made mistakes and errors on my name and address. I had to go back to have him correct it. He refunded me $25 out of the $300 that he charged. Worse tax experience I ever had. I never have received a letter about errors being made; which resulted in them saying I owe more money.l until I went to him Do not go to this place if you are looking for a new Tax Service.

This is our first time using Josh Tax Service and all I can say is I wish we would've found Asher years ago. We had been with our previous tax provider for over 10 years and the original owner sold 3 years ago. Unfortunately, the service was never the same and the personal touch we were accustomed to receiving was also gone. For the past 3 years, we basically uploaded our information to their web portal and we then went to their office to sign our documents. There was almost zero communication! Now on to Asher. I reached out to him and I will admit that I was a little nervous since it's been years since we used another tax firm. Asher offered to have my wife and I come in to simply talk and get to know one another at no charge. When we arrived, yes his office is small and the seating is limited but we were greeted with a warm welcome. We talked and got to know each other for about a half-hour. My wife and I walked away feeling good so we decided to proceed with his tax services. We dropped off our paperwork and went through everything to ensure he had all the information required to complete our taxes. Asher reviewed our information and reached out with questions as they came up. Once he was done he called us in to review all the information. He worked up various scenarios per our request and he found the best option for us. Asher worked hard to ensure he delivered the results we were in need of. He explained the various option in great detail so that we would clearly understand how each option would work. I can't remember the last time I met someone so friendly, patient, professional, and funny at times. Asher on behalf of my wife and me, you are a true blessing sir and we cannot thank you enough. You are not only our tax guy, you are considered a personal friend. THANK YOU once again!

We made an appointment with Asher at 12noon. We arrived at around 11:50am and saw that there was a client already sitting down. No problem, we waited out in the hallway. A gentleman came over and shut the door for more privacy. Again, we have no issues waiting in the hallway.He didn’t acknowledge us to say something like “Hi, I’ll be right with you” or “It is taking a little longer than expected, can you come back at X time?”.I’m also 38 weeks pregnant and there was no seating out in the hallway. It was an uncomfortable wait and I would have really appreciated if the gentleman had offered us a seat in the hallway.Not that it’s any of our business, but the walls are thin. We were able to hear the entire conversation and it didn’t seem like they were talking about anything tax related.We waited until 12:30pm and still, no one had come out to acknowledge us or ask us to come back later.We left and never heard back from Asher. We didn’t feel like valued clients and also feel like we wasted our time.

Asher is an expert with decades of experience under his belt. I am getting my taxes done from last couple years now and as a tax payer so far is the best service and expertise I came across. He helps me through out the year with any questions and concerns. Best customer service and great human being. I highly recommend him from easy to complex taxes.
