This place is a FRAUDULENT BUSINESS.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!
If I COULD I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
My fathers vehicle was failing smog emissions two years ago and we brought our truck here to get the issues fixed. They told us we needed a tune-up and to get sparkplugs changed and what not... They charged us $1100 in repairs and they performed the SMOG and told us it passed.
Fast-forward two years to the present... we had to get our vehicle smog checked again. My father took his truck to another smog shop and it failed. I ended up going back to JC automotive and told them we failed smog check again even after we spent $1100 in repairs 2 years ago. The lady who was kind and professional looked into the system and said the repairs they did were not necessarily for emissions failure. She told me I could talk to the boss the following day.
I show up the following day and Chris, the boss, was just plain out rude from the get go. Nonetheless I talked respectfully and politely and told him my issue that I failed smog again this year after repairs...
This man literally told me... you took the vehicle somewhere else and failed smog so I cant help you. I told him why that matters and that I am here now... He said I will not get into it but had you brought the vehicle to me I would have gotten it to pass.
This told me that this man never did the repairs that actually needed to be done to my fathers vehicle and fraudulently passed the vehicle and charged us for repairs... I am now again getting the repairs done again.
DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!!
I will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs!!!
Lady at the front desk is really nice and professional... Owner Chris on the other hand is complete opposite. The guy was a completely rude and unprofessional. Man does not know how to speak.

I had called for a diesel mechanic and they stated that were I had talked to the owner on the phoe tell him the valve covers and hood were off he said no problem bring it in over so I did after it arrived they said 1hour to trouble shoot it at $130 hour sounded far then after I arrived back home I got a phone call and they said my truck was disassemble and now it was 4 hours just to get started at $130 an hour being I needed my truck I had no choice but to agree after a week of having it they only done a compression test and said no compression I needed a new motor and for me to come and pick it up they could not store it I had told them my mother passed and was attending her funeral Friday he said he didn't care and get my truck he was very rude and unprofessional as well as incompetent and charged me $520 for a compression test I would not advise this rude man shopas he may very well turn on you next unsatisfied customer and rude service

I DO NOT recommend this place! the owner Chris is absolutely unprofessional and rude.Check engine light came on diagnostic came out As engine turbos went out.. I paid $633 for service a couple days later check engine light came back on so I took my vehicle back to JC auto.. It took a couple days for the parts to be delivered to the shop which I was fine with (not JC auto fault).. After my vehicle was done the front office lady (very nice lady )called me... She says my car is ready and they are not charging for labor but they did replace my Air filter Screen because it was dirty ...(keep in mind they did this without my consult).. She says that they will charge me $23 for that replacement... I kindly asked if that can be waved because that's the second time I have to bring it to get fixed and I was not going to be there to pick up my car I was having someone else pick it up for me... She wasn't sure if that would be okay so she passes the phone to the owner Chris.. As I'm speaking to Chris I explained the same thing to him and I kindly asked that the $23 charge be waved For my inconvenience... One of the first things he says to me is.. What about my pay because I've been working on your car for 3 hours (very rude)... My response to Chris was yes, thats because My car didn't get fixed and I spent $633 dollars and my check engine light is on again for the same problem... Chris then tells me it's not his fault that GM sent him a faulty part ... As I'm trying to explain to him that I am a customer who has spent a lot of money at his shop this year ( around $800 over the summer for something else and $633 last week)... Chris was very aggressive and told me to stop talking and then proceeded to tell me how this was not his fault... I was not able to really get a word in because he would speak over me... I told him he was very rude and I did not deserve for him to speak to me that way.. Chris told me my car was done and do not bring my car back.*I pay $633 and my car was not repaired Correctly so I had to bring it back for round 2* I'm being asked to pay $23 for something that was replaced without my consent ( But was never mentioned the first time I brought my car in)* Owner Chris was very rude and disrespectfulI don't blame Chris for GM shipping a faulty part however the way he handled this situation was completely uncalled for as well as unprofessional and I will never go there or recommend to anyone.. Chris GET MAD AT GM NOT THE CUSTOMER*******UPDATE!!!*******After getting my car back from supposedly being fixed... The next morning, After 1 hour of driving my son to Disneyland the check Engine light comes on... We had to turn around, drive back home and I ordered a rental car.. Chris was notified about my car and he offered to look at it again... Chris failed to fix my car 3 times and he has horrible customer service... At that point Chris had the option to refund my money or I was going to hire an attorney... Chris chose the option to write me a check for the refund... I took my car to GM motive to get properly fixed. Yes, it will cost more money but at least the job will be done correctly.

Absolutely terrible. They "repaired" my car and same issue came back. Customer service is worse then the repair.
