We came in today to get some wood cut & we've waited probably an hour or so & still no one came. Every time we've asked an employee if someone is working they said no not at this moment. I don't understand. If you have a business & you have this many departments, wouldn't you think someone would be available for that service?! If not a few, at least ONE person?! Seriously, ridiculous. The customer service is horrible!! Not one employee has came up to ask us for help. I would give 0 stars if I could.

A HDX HVAC vendor was extemely unprofessional and used a profanity towards me, completely unprovoked. When I spoke to the assistant manager, Nicole, she offered no assistance and tried to brush this incident down to nothing. All I was left with was a number to call and her "promise" to talk to the vendor's boss about the incident. Horrible.

The customer service here is just out-of-control bad. Every time I come in here, I ask simple questions and I get the most rude and disparaging answers. I am now actually afraid to speak to people here because it seems like I am talking to the mob, the DMV or the IRS. I just want to buy stuff? Why am I treated this way? Ace is just down the street and everyone is so friendly there. Ace is a bit more pricey, but unless I absolutely need to get lumber or other supplies, I will be shopping there from now on. Tools? As a home owner, I'd rather go to harbor freight because the people there are 10x times nicer and welcoming. I'll just get my makita tools from Amazon now. The final straw? I asked a young gentleman if I could ask him a question when he was done with another customer. He said "what!?" Then he said, "I'll Be back". he said this with the same type of look I used to get when I saw my enemies as a teenager. What did I do? This was in the electrical section. I waited for 5, then 10, then 20 minutes. I just left. I looked to see if the product I needed was at Ace and it was. 2 dollars more, but that's fine.

I moved from Santa Cruz to Manteca nearly 2 years ago. I loved my Home Depot in Santa Cruz...... Manteca's Home Depot? Not so much. I have used the Curbside and Order Pick Up inside recently. OMG. Save yourself the aggravation. I waited 20 minutes for Curbside, I had to finally call them to bring my order out. "They never received confirmation that I was outside waiting for them". Today, I figured I would save myself the troubl and have my order ready inside for me to pick up. I received online notification that my order was ready to be picked up. I went to the store. NOBODY WAS AT THE ONLINE PICK UP ORDER DESK, first of all. So I went and got in the other line, which I should not have. I went back to the correct area and still nobody at the desk. So I asked where I should be going (like the Cashiers didn't see me going back and forth????) to pick up and finally someone offered to help me. They went and got my bag, brought it back and it was too small of a bag to be my complete order. I showed the cashier my order receipt I printed from home. She looked at it and said this was what she had and if I wanted the rest of the items, I could go get them myself. WHAT???????!!!!!!!!!!! She was serious! The items that were not in the bag were nowhere to be found. I checked SKU numbers, model numbers. Nothing on the shelf sku tags was matching what I had ordered online. I asked an older gentleman in the Paint Dept to help me find it and he didn't even know how to look on the SKU shelf tag to match it up to the model number on the packaging. So, back to the Order Pick Up desk, which now had an actual person sitting there. I showed her my order, she looked up the two items that I could not find. One of the items showed that 5 were in stock, but she "didn't know where the item was to put it in my bag", that it had probably been removed from the shelf. The other item, Model # HDXGRFB1 Store SKU # 1005077088 doesn't even have a SKU tag on the shelf for it. If that is the case, then why is the item being shown as available to purchase? Remove it from that store's inventory list. Same with Model # 24301PGP-F-DA Store SKU # 1000541649 that shows online that there are 5 in stock, but whoever picked my order decided to not go a little further to find where those 5 in stock items were located? I am an elderly disabled person, so the last thing I want (or should) to do is walk up and down aisles looking for items that are not even there. Since Staff seems to not really care about the type of Customer Service they are providing (I'm sure it's because they're understaffed and just are barely managing with the lack of help), it's time to start looking around for a new hardware store to shop at. I cancelled my order and left the items with the person who was working at the Order Pick Up Desk. I expect to see the reversal of charges promptly on Monday or I will be adding an update to my yelp review about how my cancelled order wasn't handled correctly.

Don't rent a carpet cleaner from them. All it does is leave your carpets soaking wet and doesn't even clean the carpets. Tried to talk to home depot about it because we thought we had a defective carpet cleaner (used theirs before and worked well). They refused to help or make it right. Told use we could just rent the machine again... right. Let's rent the defective machine again. Over all rude and not helpful. Save your money and go elsewhere. Photos are of after and carpet was pretreated. Waste of time and money.

We were going to really say it's just home Depot. I stopped in to get some generic branded bloom fertilizer for my grow and they had it like I thought for the best price. But you know nothing's spectacular with customer service so it's home Depot

Can't put into words how bad this place is. I'm a combat veteran and I suffer from severe ptsd. I came in to have a 2x4 cut in one spot. I tracked down several employees to ask for help. I was told they couldn't help me or that they would call someone to help. After waiting well over 30 mins I then asked for a manager. Waited another 30 mins after the manager was called twice. I ended up having a breakdown and crying. Had to call a family member to the store to help me. Once family showed up a manager immediately appears and tells me this is the first he's heard of me needing assistance. Lie. I will never spend a dime here again and I don't think anyone who's served there country should either. Literally 5 employees standing around while I'm having an attack.

I had The worst experience with getting an appliance , No problem purchasing it and taking my money, but when it comes to delivery they expect you to be home all day , not everyone can afford to take all day off to wait for delivery. It was scheduled for delivery. I specifically said to give me a PM window. They came here earlier and I was not here after making arrangements. I spoke to a supervisor to reschedule. and notated the account for next Friday in the p.m. window because I had a procedure that morning and I received a text the same morning that they will be here between in AM 1030 and 230 again the time that I couldn't be here I called amd spoke to año supervisor and said there's nothing she can do, When I asked her what is the purpose of talking to supervisor and notating my account she said it's not guaranteed then I called the store manager and again same thing they want to reschedule it for another week when I was out two weeks already without a fridge. Never would I purchase an appliance from H. Depot or do any major purchase to deal with this I'm was very Disappointed.

Bought an air-conditioning unit there and strapped it to the motorcycle with straps from there as well. It worked out great. Hence the 5 stars :D
