Update: I cannot begin to tell you the countless compliments I’ve gotten on my husky’s grooming. I totally recommend this business especially for huskies.Original review: I am on summer travel and needed to get my husky groomed. I noticed there were a couple of adverse reviews for this place but I have to tell you I called 4-5 groomers in the area and this was the only place that actually answered the phone.I feel they did a magnificent job. I know because my husky is happy when he knows he’s pretty. It did take a while but I see they were very thorough with their work. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back again.

I moved here a few years ago and Dirty paws was recommended by a friend. I absolutely love the attention to detail and how much they love animals. Kind caring loving would be a way to explain the above and beyond customer service. Our girls absolutely love going to the doggie spa. We have Shih Tzu mix and Cocker spaniel mix.

I have been doing business with Dirty Paws Pet Salon for almost two years, which is saying a lot. They do great work and are very informative. I recommend them highly.

I would rate this business as less than zero if that were possible. I dropped into the Dirty Paws Pet Salon today and left totally understanding why the word "dirty" is part of the name. The proprietors treat people like dirt. I went to Dirty Paws for the sole purpose of offering them a donation of pillows, towels and bed linens. Because I'm getting a new Sleep Number 360 Smart bed, I'll be replacing my old sheets so I thought that a dog groomer and their doggy clients might enjoy such a donation. I say they're dirty because of the treatment I received. They pretended I didn't exist. Two woman behind the counter, whom I'm assuming were the owners, stood no more than 15 feet away, looking right at me, but they just busied themselves, avoiding eye contact. They didn't even acknowledge my presence. It took me a few minutes for it to register what was going on. Blatant racism!!! I'm older so this sort of thing has happened in the distant past, but never this blatantly!! There was another customer present too. He looked at me like I had 2 heads. I don't; just black skin. It was the creepiest, sickest thing ever. I had to ask myself if this was California or the deep south. I was a liile stunned, but of course once I processed what was happening, I left. Again they never said a word. It felt like they were holding their collective breath, willing me to leave. Your dogs might come out clean after keaving this place, but think about the stench you might be left with. Avoid the stench of this hateful place at all costs. By the way, lest you're giving them a pass, thinking maybe I brought this treatment on myself, somehow, I'll just say that I'm a retired librarian. A well-educated, upper middle class, senior, non-threatening woman. I was dressed in average, casual clothes and entered the store with cheer in my heart. It was not me. It was them. And it was dirty. Please don't support businesses who treat customers this way!

Seemed like a great place but they shaved my dog all the way down and did not follow the only request to not shave the top of my dogs head...when I went to pick up my dogs they were in a room where a husky was being shaved down too, so they were covered in another dogs fur!!! Was a waste of $95 and will never return there! Do yourself a favor and keep searching for a better grooming place.

Note: I did not receive services for my pet(s). This is about customer service. I have never been here before. I had called several times to this place and no one ever answers. I did leave a voicemail once and didn't get a call back. My usual groomer missed my appointment and could only make up for one today. My other dog desperately needed to get at least his nails trimmed. I went to this salon hoping that I'd have better luck in person. They have two handwritten signs. One sign says "closed due to Covid". The other sign says something like ring the doorbell please be patient it could be a few minutes as we are busy. So I rang the doorbell twice and waited but no on was coming. I tried to peep through. The lights were off so I was confused if they are still servicing or fully closed. Then I hear a female voice say: we are CLOSED. Her tone of voice implying that I should obviously know. I found it rather rude given that they have the aforementioned signs. If in fact is fully closed, remove the ring the doorbell sign.

I was able to get an appointment in a week, which was helpful because I was dog sitting my daughters dog. They did a fabulous job grooming Neko, who is a Papillon Chihuahua, and is temperamental. Neko has never played with other dogs and I was shocked when I picked him up to see him playing with a bunch of other little dogs. I was so impressed! Neko looks fabulous with his new hairdo and I couldn't be more appreciative! They gave a great way with dogs!
