I just moved to Manteca and I have several bank accounts but not with the bank of Stockton. I need to get $2 bills for a special event I'm going to and they refuse to give them to me. because I don't have an account there. Hope you're bought out by corporate America because you're ignorant. I know I'll never bank there.

Bank of Stockton have the most rudest upper management people. I would never open any type of account with large monies in their possession especially if your in elderly status. We have been so shocked on what we discovered and heard at this particular bank in the city we live in. Please think twice before you open any account at any Bank of Stockton.

Not my personal bank, but recently had to work with them for our non profit. With a change in personnel and treasurer and I made 2 trips in June with paperwork deleting those no longer associated with the account, adding myself and two others and changing the mailing address. I did this with Karina. Last week i went in and couldn't make a deposit because they couldn't find the account using my ID. I went in today with the treasurer of the account and tried to find out what happened as the new treasurer hasn't retrieved the statements at the new address either. Apparently all the paperwork we completed in June was lost. We were not added, the address was not changed. How could this happen? Personally I would not use this bank. We had to start all the paperwork all over again.

This is a bank that cares. If you want to feel as though your business is valued bank here. Veve, Karina & Amy are always ready to help with any laundry list banking item you can think of. The staff working behind the frontlines are always happy to help with a smile and I look forward to catching up with them while they conduct a smooth transaction.Bank of Stockton is not only equip to handle large account loads but ready. Don't be fooled however, your small personal account is also just as important to them. They truly show why they have been able to remain in service for so many years!

I have had a business account with Bank of Stockton for about 8 year, they're great if you have no issues(but then again who isn't) and recently I had an issue. I received a call from my bookkeeper which is what got the ball rolling. I called Bank of Stockton and the person that helped me said they would need to look into what the letters _ _ _ _ were and someone would give me a call back. What the person said on the phone caught me off guard and that is "we looked it up on the internet and see that it is ____________. Now why wouldn't you go look at your records? There has to be a paper trail of who requested the ACH and who approved, right? Well since I did not recognize who this was she made the assumption I had fraud on my account and suggested I close my account. This was all new to me and there are a lot of things tied into this account so I wasn't so quick to "close my account". She first questioned who would have access to my checking account number. Really, who wouldn't if you ever wrote a check. We(my bookkeeper/account) needed answers and Bank of Stockton was ill-prepared to offer the answers, she even questioned the integrity of my bookkeeper/accountant. My account contacted them and didn't gain any more insight than I did. Have countless calls between my account and Bank of Stockton "FINALLY" produced the paper trail and all was resolved. What appalls me is why they did not do this from the get go, everything would have been resolved without the anxiety, frustration and time going back and forth looking for answers. I am VERY disappointed in their nonchalant attitude. I will be switching banks which will now add more time to more already hectic schedule for something that could have been avoided from the very beginning, by just looking their paper trail. Yes I take some responsibility, but this is why we hire/pay these institutions what we do is because they are the experts in this field.

Been banking with them for years. Unfortunately there is new staff there and a new branch manager and they are very elitist. After being unbelievably rudely treated by Karina and then the branch manager Amy being condescending about the entire situation, I notified Amy that I would be moving my accounts as soon as the pandemic was over. I then wrote corporate immediately and notified them that I would be moving my accounts as soon as the pandemic was over. Today, I received a call from Amy, who has decided to be punitive and claim that she made the decision not to allow me to bank there, a whopper of a lie, which I can prove by when I notified the bank in writing, and as a part of her punitive actions has frozen my debit card and trying to shut down all of my accounts in two weeks, instead of when the pandemic is over. One, no banks are taking new accounts until the pandemic is over, and two, what she is doing is illegal, they are not allowed to shut down anything while the pandemic is happening. Avoid this bank at all cost. They are no longer staffed with people that care, they are staffed with people that are rude, condescending and elitist. UPDATE: Wow, just wow. Amy just called me and once again, lied through her teeth. After I complained to corporate and after I filed a complaint with the Attorney General, both of which I then notified Amy about by leaving her a message, she called me back, claiming that she had decided to leave the accounts open for 30 days and leave the debit card alone because one of the accounts gets a direct deposit. What a liar! She knows that what she is doing is illegal, and is trying to mitigate the damage. While I hope the pandemic is over in 30 days and I can simply bounce to another bank, if it is not, then this is still an illegal action. I stand by my original post. Do NOT bank with these people, if the branch manager Amy lies through her teeth, and she does, then the corruption is at the top, so their is zero point in dealing with anyone else at this branch. RUN!

They don't even deserve 1 Star but I couldn't rate without any stars but that's what I wanted to give them!!! The don't deserve it they don't deserve any stars if you ask me. This is one of the worst banks in the whole world!! They will steal your money and not give a explanation to why or how. They don't know how a certain process happens or how it works on the back side to explain it to you. Their customer service is horrible! Regardless on what you do to make your account free they will continue to charge you fees. Take charges from an old account when you get money into a new account manually and overdraft your account. I had 4 bank accounts here and was going to open up more however they greatly disappointed me in how their operations worked and how their customer service would constantly say it was the customers fault and not take responsibility for anything that they did or mistakes that they made. I would have a auto payment made which was cancelled with the vender and when I opened up a new account no connection with the old account the banker decided to pay a bill with out asking me and then stated it was something I must have done when I was paying it from another bank instead. It wasn't their responsibility to pay my bills not knowing how I was going to pay them. I never got a phone call to ask me permission first. They didn't even apologize just accused me of doing it. The vendor payment processer even said that it wasn't them asking for the money that it was the bank who issued the payment manually. When asking to close the account they just kept charging me fees and when I messaged them they said the would not remove the fees they would take money out of my account regardless of an old levy from my ex and steal my money to pay for his levy out of another account which would cause the payments that I had made in that account to get returned which charged me fees on the bank side and the vendor as well. I don't recommend this bank they are horrible and don't follow state guidelines nor do they hand out all the policies and correct disclosures when opening an account. They don't keep their promises to the customer and they just care about stealing your money especially if your switching banks they could care less about the customers just the stock holders paychecks!!!! NEVER BANK HERE!!

I became affiliated with this bank when I started doing the banking at my job. Every employee is so friendly and helpful and I'm always in and out super fast. I was happy with the service every time I went for work stuff that I decided to open a personal account here. I'm so glad I did because it is WAY better than my previous bank!

Yup it was not a actual charge. Thank you for folowing up with me. It was interest over the duration of the entirity of the loan. Although it shows as finance charge on paper work it is just misleading. Thanks again for the help. I do reccommend veteran discounts though as i served over seas 4 times. A break in rate for vets with good credit would be nice. Thanks again!
