Be warned that they don't tell you up front the cost of the custom in soles. They're $100, and they don't tell you that until they've already molded them to your feet. Then you feel obligated to buy them. It's a bit of a racket. They'll also try to sell you on an ongoing membership subscription /fees. But that's my only gripe. Other than that this place is amazing. I was impressed by their custom fitting process. Their people are so helpful and wildly knowledgeable. And the selection can't be beat. The store is massive.

Came into Village Runner because I’ve been struggling to find the right shoes for different types of runs. The store associates were incredibly kind, friendly and very helpful. Dan was extremely knowledgeable; able to answer all of my questions and address my curiosities regarding footwear product and recommended some specific gels for my long run. Definitely come here if you are a runner looking for the products to improve your runs

Came in with some nagging insertional tendonitis after going rogue and converting all my shoes to zero minimalist shoes. The guy I sat down with was super knowledgeable and had a knack for quickly diagnosing and prescribing a shoe selection. Caught a right foot pronation I hadn't noticed as well. Brought my wife back to get her shoes there after she was having back issues from standing a lot at work. Problem solved with a new pair of shoes they recommended.
