“My son went to this program and had a great experience. The Team at Manhattan Country Club are excellent and I highly recommend. The kids have a lot of great activities due to the location at the country club including tennis, yoga, dance, etc. We particularly loved the events they put on for parents. These events are top notch with catering and cute dances, singing and performances by the kids.”

“Good food. We ordered the chicken Cesar salad, pepperoni pizza and truffle pizza. The first two were very delicious. The brie-truffle pizza was simply alright. But lets talk about that homemade giant cinnamon roll though …. I’d drive all the way there to satisfy that craving any day!The cappuccino was good too. First time in LA I found a decent capp, I usually order cappuccinos and end up with lattés !The location is perfect, overlooking the water. Would absolutely recommend.”

“First off the staff was exceptional. Everyone was nice and helpful. Service was great. Food at the bar was amazing. My room was disappointing to say the least. The carpet was falling apart and so dirty I felt keeping my shoes on necessary. The tiles were cracked and broken in the bathroom. The curtain was extremely difficult to close and shredded. The TV in our room didn't work at all and was not a smart tv as in other rooms. The WiFi went in and out so much it was impossible to stream on any device- and no tv. I wish this room was what had been advertised so I could have opted stay elsewhere. They said they couldn't change our room. Overall disappointed. If you get a new room it's probably a lovely stay.”

“Verandas Beach HouseOn July 30, 2022, our oldest daughter had a 5-year Vow Renewal at Verandas Beach House. Our contact was Alison Brand, she is professional, extremely helpful, meticulous, friendly, compassionate, extremely organized, efficient at her job and was always available to answer any questions we had. Alison and her team are amazing in every way. We received so much more than we expected. Our family and friends are still talking about the fun they had, how beautiful the venue was. The venue itself has so much to offer, ocean and sunset view, sweeping staircase from the balcony to the courtyard area, coy pond, beautiful landscaping, bar area, dance floor, comfortable and roomy lounge area, and a large dining area. Thanks to you and your team for such a memorable event.”

“Love this hotel. The people, gym, outdoor pool and lounging area, and the attached 9 hole executive golf course all make for a terrific work, or recreational, stay. Nicely done to all who take care of us here!”

“Room is spacious and clean. Kitchen has items you need to prep basic meals. There is considerable noise from upstairs if you are in a ground level unit. Beds are uncomfortably firm. Staff is friendly and efficient. breakfast is included but I didnt try it. Target is very nearby for supplies and there are lots of good places to eat in the area.”

“This was a work trip and it was convenient for where we were going, but I don't know if I would stay here if it were a personal trip. I was there for an overnight trip so I didn't go to the restaurant or gym. The Belamar looks like it was an old apartment building converted to a hotel and the rooms were passed off as hipster with the in room record player. My coworker who lives in the area says that it's been converted several times. The hallway and stairwell give away it's age. Pros: Staff was very courteous and friendly. Close to the Point (high end shops and restaurants) There's a green belt for walking, plus the neighborhood has charming homes to walk past. Bikes are for rent. The hotel has a deal with Soul Cycle. Record players in every room. It's fine for an overnight trip. I was able to have the hotel hold my bags while I was in a meeting. That was very convenient. Just OK: Parking is tight and it's $25 for overnight parking. The records are in the lobby. I know one Yelper was made comments about their choice in music, but I kind of agree and the records I did play were dated past our parents era and scratched. It's time to purge and upgrade with newer used records. The beds are kind of low. I thought it was odd, but some people with mobility issues may not like it. The bathtub needed an upgrade or repaint, but the shower was fine. For convenience to The Point, LAX, Manhattan Beach and visiting F&F in the area, it will work for most.”
