I’m uncertain why this place is classified as a spa. The only facility available is an extremely small coed sauna where you cannot remove a heavy robe and have to wait in line if someone is already there. Additionally, they don’t offer parking, and if you book a 1.5-hour treatment, there’s hardly any time left to shower. If there happens to be someone in front of you at the register, you can expect to get a parking ticket.
As for the treatment itself, my massage felt more like a light application of oil over my body, with no real pressure applied. Considering the high price, I found it to be quite disappointing. Overall, I do not recommend this place and won’t be returning myself.

Great services, amazing staff. Hosted a party and we were treated like princesses. What a fun new space! Highly recommend!

NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALLLLL!! I paid 175 for a facial and my face is basically just caked up with a bunch of serums. The “aesthetician” that gave me a facial, didn’t even know the ingredients in the majority of the products that she was using on my face. My face literally looked no different the next day after a facial I felt like I wasted my money and could’ve gone somewhere else and spent less for a better Result. This place was aesthetically pleasing, but their services weren’t worth it. I felt as though they put more energy into the aesthetics of the place than the services that they provide. If you are a person that values quality here is not the place to go. I just felt like it was a waste of money in a waste of time.

I had a massage with Paula and she was excellent! I had so much stress and tension in my body but Paula’s massage was able to get rid of that. The spa was beautiful and clean and I highly recommend getting a massage with Paula.

Extremely disappointed!! My sister and I got treatments here and were very dissatisfied with our entire experience. The “sauna” they advertise is a little at home sauna that barely fits 2 people and doesn’t work half the time. I got a hydrafacial and she spent 1/3 of the time working on my nose and it’s still incredibly congested. My skin is irritated and red and uncomfortable. My sister got the Korean facial and they didn’t even wash her face!! They then put on a mask and left it on for 45 minutes. I’m not exactly sure what we’re paying for?? I’m so sad I want to cry my skin looks so bad.

I loved my afternoon at Trilogy Spa! The environment was serene and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of Manhattan Beach. I enjoyed the infrared sauna and peppermint tea before my massage. My deep tissue massage with Justin was the best massage of my life and, I am picky! I have had a lot of body-work in my life and I was shocked at how I felt afterwards. My pain has subsided (and still a few days later, no pain) and I was completely transported into another world. It far exceeded my expectations. Treat yourself some time at Trilogy, they clearly know what they are doing!

What a total gem in the hood! From start to finish, I was hooked. A snafu in scheduling due to someone having to deal with an emergency...no one's fault, but it was a problem as I was taking my mom for her birthday. Well, let's just say - WE ARE HOOKED! From the greeting when we got there to the interesting body machines, and the serene surroundings. It was intimate, relaxing and lovely. Didn't even realize I was in DTMB. And then the facial...Nia is probably one of the best EVER! I will be calling on Tuesday to make our next appt in a few months...and be bringing a friend! Thank you, Trilogy. Keep doing what you are doing.

The massage and spa were underwhelming. The massage was not worth $150. It felt as through she rubbed lotion on me with no effort. The spa lacks spa feel. The sauna was not turned on or heated prior to use. Say for 20 min with no heat due to warm up. Decoration was beautiful! Aesthetics are well developed for interior design. Front desk was helpful and kind.

I visited the new Trilogy location yesterday. I'd been saving a gift card to use once they reopened in their new location. Unfortunately, overall I was a bit disappointed and miss the old Trilogy. I booked the spa facial, which was nice and my technician was friendly, but it started 10 minutes late and ended right on time. 40 minutes wasn't really worth $155. I also tried the infrared body roller. I didn't realize it was self service when I booked it. Not sure that was worth $65 for 30 minutes. The spa itself was clean, but fairly small and a bit odd of a layout with the men's and women's locker rooms right next to each other and the lounge being basically in the lobby. I used to love going to Trilogy and previously had amazing experiences, but this was lacking.

I had high hopes for the new location, but it really fell short. The layout is odd, the changing rooms require that you walk through the lobby to get to the massage rooms. Just thought that was strange. If you want to sit and relax you need to sit in the lobby/checkin area. Again very strange and not modest whatsoever. I'm no prude but there is t anywhere to relax. My friends and I used to sit out on the Sun deck. There is a very small outdoor area but nothing like it was before. There are virtually no amenities anymore- just a shower with shampoo/conditioner/wash. I missed the soaking tubs and sauna that the old trilogy had, no razor blades, lotions, shower caps, scrubs etc. . With the drastic increase in pricing I thought there would be more to do. The massage itself was lovely and front desk personnel were friendly and courteous but I'm not sure I'll return. There weren't even towels to dry your hands in the restroom, which I did point out and hopefully the fixed that after I left.

I was disappointed by my recent experience at Trilogy. They are in their new location now so i was anxious to try it out. They provide very little information on the website about what the spa has to offer in the new location. When I arrived, i was told the sauna, steam room, etc (all the things you normally get as part of a true spa experience), aren't up and running yet. I was taken through a maze to get to a single room with a chair you can relax in while waiting for your treatment. did you don't do that, you're waiting at the entrance waiting area. Once i got to my treatment, my technician was kind of figity and i could feel him shaking the whole time. Also the music inside the rooms is so so quiet (i like the background noise to help cover up all the outside noise like people walking down the hallway or talking at the entrance), but it was so subtle i could hear everything. There were other little things with the message that didn't make it feel like it was worth $150. I won't be going again until they change some stuff up.
