Whilst visiting friends I've been going to TJ's 3 days a week for the last 3 weeks. Every time I go through check out I encountered an extremely friendly staff member. Such a great place to shop.

Be careful I was a victim of someone stealing an IPHONE out of my own purse at this location. And management informed me this is the second time it's happened this month alone. Keep your belongings close to you and keep an eye out. They also do not- I REPEAT DO NOT have any active cameras on site throughout their whole store or any locations I was also informed. I don't feel safe shopping at this location/store anymore. This happened yesterday, Wednesday October 25, 2023. You have been WARNED The pathetic robber lives off Aviation Blvd., and Mathews Ave in Redondo Beach, CA. Between 724-764 S. AVIATION Blvd. The police are good family friends- and they are personally investigating this case for me. Karma comes full circle.

This store is the fast store. Smaller and well stocked but sometimes the parking lot is super busy on the way home from work.

I had always enjoyed going to this Trader Joe's over the years, but it's shifted in 2023. Now it's way too crowded for the small space. The parking lot is so cramped with more cars trying to get in than there are spaces. The worst of it is the employees they've brought on in over the Summer of 2023 and beyond are just cold, rude, nasty people. I've already encountered 3 of them on 3 separate occasions over the course of two months. I don't know what their problem is.But this no doubt is a management issue and whoever is responsible for hiring. They do a lousy job with that. Those employees should be fired and so should the hiring manager for being a horrible judge of character with the hiring process. I've only encountered one nice friendly employee at this location throughout 2023. Unfortunately, I don't know his name, but he's a young guy maybe 18-24 with long hair. That was around April 2023. The rest of the employees have a bad attitude problem which is not the vibe of the Trader Joe's name.Maybe they're constantly dealing with bad customers, I don't know, but if that one guy can remain cool, then it's likely the staff that's the problem. And mind you, I'm probably one of the easiest customers one can have. I go in, keep to myself, grab what I need, and check out. I don't ask for anything. I don't need anything and I'm super chill and all smiles. For instance, on 9/9/23, I'm walking down an aisle to go to the registers, this one employee is walking into my aisle almost runs into me which is fine it happens, I stop, "Sorry about that." He rudely and irritatingly glares at me, "Go ahead!" I was like, "Excuse me sorry." He's still glaring at me angrily. I was like, "What the F is his problem?" That was an uncomfortable situation. I look back and he's just putting an item on the shelf. He had that kind of anger just to put something on a shelf, which is his job! Sorry if the employees are put out that they can't stock a shelf without customers being in their way but let me remind you losers that you have a job because of people like me going in there to spend money to keep the place open.Another employee at the registers asks how many bananas I have. I'm thinking, "I'm not sure, I think around 10." He counts and says, "There's 12." Then he can't stop laughing rudely as if that's funny and he's ringing it up. He's shaking his head and still laughing. I almost asked, "Is something about this funny to you?" You can tell from the tone that it was a condescending rude laugh. I also had my mind on something else as I had just looked at a sad text that I was thinking about before I was next in line.Just horrible, horrible, horrible employees here. They need to clean house at this place and fast! Starting from the top because that's where it starts.Oh, and they recently put in the frozen section, a long aisle of those frozen fridges like in the regular grocery store. The problem with that is there are way too many people opening and closing those doors that all of the glasses are so fogged up, you can't see what you're looking for. It probably seemed like a good idea at the time to put that in, but after experiencing it, no not so good.

Purchased a lot of fruit and vegetables. I didn't look at them really good, most were punctured, bruised or over ripe. But my chicken breakfast links were really good.

I had to go to Trader Joe's to get water and since I was in the neighbor from leaving AT&T store on Manhattan, I came to this one. I was going to do a little shopping but first I had to check to see if they had my cases of water. So I asked the first cashier that had an empty line. I asked him if they had the 24 pack of water (who didn't seem to concern) and he told me no. At the same time another gentleman ( who did seem concerned) who worked there wanted to make sure the customer (me) was satisfied. I think he was listening to my and the cashier I asked about the water when I first came in conversation (I am glad he was listening). He said we have loose bottles over here and if I didn't mind getting those. I said sure I will take them. So he said he can put the water bottles in wine boxes, I said sure thank you so much! I got his name, its Jose. Valery the cashier, who rung me up, had great customer service told me he was one of the managers. Jose was great. His customer service was on point and he wanted to make sure I was a happy customer and I was. When Valery was done ringing me up she helped me to my car. I asked did they take tips she said no. So I wasn't able to tip her. Good thing she said no because all I had was $3 on me lol. Thank you again Jose and Valery. Keep up the good work!!

Best Kiefer prices and almost alway have some Green Bananas available…Now I just buy high-quality organic whole milk, boil it gently, and once it cools to room temperature pour a little kefir inside and turn it into a $7 GALLON of KieferHa ha. Leave it out overnight, and in the morning put it in the fridge and enjoy all week long.

Trader Joe's - wholly owned subsidiary of Aldi, a Germany-based grocery chain - is not exactly forthcoming when it comes to labeling and marking the origin country of the various products they sell in a conspicuous and easy to read/understanding manner. Notably when it comes to frozen or canned food, that people are particularly concerned about where it comes from. In addition Trader Joe's pet food needs to properly state the names of the countries of origin and processing. In addition, being a wholly owned subsidiary of Aldi, a low-cost retailer typically found in less-affluent neighborhoods, often the products offered are the same, yet pricing differences between Trader Joe's and Aldi can be as much as 30% or more. Thus beware, don't be afraid to walk to the customer service desk if not sure where a product originated from and have them provide that information as is required by federal and also state law. A classic example of muddying the true origin of the goods is the often mentioned statement "distributed by Trader Joe's South Pasadena". The word "distributed" does not mean "manufactured" or "produced" by, but a non diligent shopper can easily get the wrong impression.
