Bought a pair of shoes from this store and both shoes came apart after one use. Don’t let him fool you about his shoes. He is a snake oil salesman. He will tell you they are from Europe and they are high priced shoes. Haha. Nope. They are one time use shoes, and worse he will get defensive and start yelling at you. Unbelievable. I never post, but I thought this guy really is a piece of work. He sits behind a pile of papers behind his desk. Comical, and tried to tell me that shoes shouldn’t break after one use, but he won’t do anything but glue them back together. Haha. I left with my shoes. Threw them away and thought I would warn others before you get scammed too. The “leather” came apart from sole and the twine unraveled from the sides of the sole.

This is a hidden gem. Excellent quality shoes. The clientele are not YELP posters unfortunately. Stop by. Support local business. Amazing quality Italian leather. This is one of two I purchased. Super comfortable.

I read the reviews and decided to go to this store anyway because I had seen these really cute platforms a couple weeks before. They didn't have the ones I had seen earlier but two others that were cute. I wasn't fully ready to commit as I needed to remind myself what I had in my closet already as this is the type of store where there are no returns. The guy was arrogant high pressure sales type, who decided I should buy one pair and he would exchange out for the other. I suggested I would prefer to go home, check my closet, call him to pay for the shoes over the phone and come back and grab them when I come to town again in two weeks. He said no, buy now or he won't sell me shoes. I was taken aback by the abrupt turn of extreme rudeness. I think he thinks women should do what he says and is clearly trouble based on all the reviews. It's unfortunate because I really liked the platforms and when I got home, saw I had a similar in black and would have called to purchase the blue ones. They were not cheap, so I could thank him for saving me money. He seems to not need mine and maybe no business, from women who don't follow his opinion or orders. This is definitely the same dude from other reviews, but I'm not some young girl for him to creep out on, so he was just plain full of himself, with no physical reason to be so. He's not attractive with unpleasant personality traits for sure. I guess that explains why he's so angry, creepy and rude.

10/10 quality.... With that in mind I was at the store on Sunday trying to decide between back pair and white pair of heels.. this man had the audacity to say he will "offer me a 50% discount for a second pair if I give him a massage in the back"... ok this is Manhattan beach... I could have been 17... like what kind of a gross sleazy man does this... I got both pairs and left. From now on I will buy That brand online only. That man deserves to go to prison for the way he talks and treats women. What the actual hell. You are old and 50 years old pulled up in the busiest street of Manhattan beach and treating women like this. Disgusting.

Wholly crap! I bought two pair of shoes yesterday and the owner offered me a job! I'm so glad I read these reviews. He wanted me to meet with him again next week! When I asked what happened to the last girl, he said her boyfriend thought he wanted to sleep with her! It did raise a red flag but this solidifies my suspicions!

Stay away from this store. All sales are final sales! Owner will promise to take back if you have any issues with the shoes and then will refer to a very small sign by the cashier that all sales are final! Very dishonest..

*****STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE******* PLEASE STAY AWAY! The man that owns the store is soliciting sexual favors for discounts and or free shoes. THE OWNER physically assaulted me and then dragged me to the rear of his store. I immediately called the police and the police did nothing. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS IN HIS ESTABLISHMENT which suggests there are shady practices going on.( from detective's mouth.) Please Please Please protect yourself and stay away from this store. I filed a police report about the incident within minutes of its occurrence and the OWNER denied IT when QUESTIONED BY THE Manhattan Beach police department. The city of Manhattan Beach did nothing to protect me from what happened beforehand. Please protect yourself!
