My husband and I rescued our baby from Noah's Bark rescue! We are so thankful for the dog we rescued and are so happy we are able to give her the home she deserves! Noah's Bark Dog Rescue is absolutely amazing! They care about the dogs they rescue and want them to go to the best homes. Shelly is an amazing person. She has so much love to give to her rescues. Thank you Noah's Bark for our baby and allowing us to give her such a loving home.

Very happy with my pup and the whole adoption experience. They seem very fair and reasonable. The foster they used for my pup did a great job.

We've had the pleasure of adding to our family 3 times through Noah's Bark. We started with a puppy, then a few years later we adopted a mangy abandoned 3 year old, and finally we adopted old Charley - he was approximately 15 when he came to live with us. We've had nothing but excellent experiences with Noah's Bark. I will just say that the most heartbreaking thing for a rescue organization is when an animal is "returned" due to incompatibility. That's why Noah's Bark really screens adopters fully to make certain the dog will be going to a forever home. I have nothing but praise for the work this group does.

I've been volunteering for over a year now with this organization & I love them!!! They're so supportive & their knowledge of medical conditions are amazing. They step in to save many that wouldn't have survived without them. Bless this amazing rescue for all that they do!

My puppy is amazing, but the follow up service was terrible. I paid $400 for my puppy for her shots and her spayed and when I went to get ask information about getting her spayed they refused to return my phone calls I called them six different times and left my name and number and I never once received a call back. So if you left a rescue puppies this is a great place, but you're expecting any kind of follow up for service afterwards you're going to the wrong place. I ended up paying another $250 to get my dog spayed and her final shots

Some reviewers appear under the impression that because they were the first to apply, it ensured their position in adopting a dog. Noah's Bark isn't looking to adopt out their dogs to the first in line - they want the right family. So many factors need to be considered when selecting a good match between dog and family, especially because many of Noah's Bark dogs are ill and/or injured. I'm proud to say that we applied to adopt a puppy from this organization amongst many others, and they chose us. We showed that we had prior experience with rescuing dogs, we are an active outdoor family and our children take part in pack leadership of our animals. It could also be that we were enthusiastic, not entitled and polite but I'm just guessing.

We went for a third time to see a dog we applied to adopt four weeks ago at the Torrance Petco adoption site for Noah's Bark. When we were told the dog had been adopted I asked if the adoption process does not include letting applicants know when a dog is adopted. The volunteer immediately went on the attack reminding me they are volunteers and have full time jobs and do not have time to contact applicants. She suggested I should have called or emailed to check in the adoption status. I let her know I had emailed twice and left three voice messages without response to any. Her reply was "oh". If you as a volunteer are so overwhelmed that all you can manage is rude and angry you may want to stop volunteering. The fact that she was wearing a shirt saying "get your fucking dog fixed" at a dog adoption event with kids and families seems a bit unprofessional as well. Noah's Bark, you may want to vet your volunteers a little more closely and clarify that your adoption process is one of no communication unless an applicant is chosen to adopt.

This place broke my kids heart. We were told that a dog was open for adoption, and we were the first to apply. We were told to email and call the center to see when the dog was healthy enough to go home. We were told we could visit the dog on Saturday's. We did all of that. We drove 30 minutes three times to visit the dog. When we arrived to visit the dog again they informed us that the dog was already adopted. How did you encourage kids to visit a dog if you never intended on letting them bring him home. My children are crushed.

I got my little love bug Penny from this rescue group. And have since placed three dogs with friends. The volunteers work very hard and all for free. They rescue little munchies that desperately need a home. I'm sorry that Vicki you had a bad experience, but I think this group is outstanding. I know from experience that they will turn away someone if they truly believe the dog is not a good fit. They are constantly working. I've seen some of the dogs that they've rescued and I don't know how they keep doing it. I would have been crying and giving up years ago. Thanks for all you do!!!!

Noah's Bark is a wonderful all volunteer non profit organization. They are all volunteers, no one is paid for anything they do. It is all for the love of the animals. They truly take in the dogs that have no other hope left on Earth! It's unfortunate that someone wrote a bad review about Noah's Bark after their dog nipped or bit one of the volunteers children and they were concerned about it. I think any parent would be concerned about it. That being said, this is a wonderful organization with people who truly care. We have adopted 2 dogs from them and all I can say is that it was a wonderful experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a dog. All of the dogs are in foster homes and they know their personalities well and truly want to make sure it is the perfect fit for you and the dog! Keep up the great work!
