Erik helped me out big time!! My transmission went out in my 2014 Dodge Journey, and within a week, he had the car running like it was brand-new! Additionally, they didn't charge me an arm and a leg for what's usually an expensive job - they gave me an extremely fair price. Friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. This is an A+ operation, staffed by the best in the business, and managed absolutely top-notch!! Will definitely make this my regular service center.

To quote someone else here who left a review, "Excellent old school service by top mechanics." I've built cars on and off for 20 years and have come across all types of shops and vendors. A trustworthy shop, insanely quality work, experienced technicians, clear easy to read invoices, transparency, friendly people, and a team who get's the vehicle 100% done and doesn't fall off at the last lap is so hard to find under one roof and yet these attributes all exist at John's Service Center. I was referred to them a few months ago and they are now my go to shop and I've thrown their name to many other people. I've had them work on my 64' Rambler, 55' Ford F100, and a newer Expedition. They have exceeded my expectations every time. I've spoke to both Steve and Eric when going there and they're always super friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot to mention above but unlike a lot of shops that promise you the world, under deliver, over charge, and miss deadlines. You won't encounter this here! Amazing shop and great team!

I would get this place in 10 stars ,if I could. I had to get my husbands 2011 jaguar fixed . It hadn't run in a few years. And needed some body work Eric and the crew made it looking and driving like it was brand new. They evendid the smog check.So honest and reasonable. I saved thousands of dollars not bringing it to the Jaguar dealer. Highly recommend!.

Excelent old school service by top mechanics. Reasonable prices that were 1/2 dealers quote. They went above and beyond to make sure my car was finished and ready when quoted. This despite having complicated problems not apparent when examined. Highly recommend this business

on a trip down from San Francisco, my car was overheating and was towed to a local shop in Manhattan Beach. John's service center and met with Erik. I was told my radiator had cracked and it needed to be replaced, he assured me this was going to be a 1 day service, so I left my car. He said it would be done before 5:00 p.m and the cost would be around $500. I was call about 3:30 and told my car was ready. when I picked up the car, Erik showed the radiator, and was told that both radiator hoses were also replaced due to age and the bill was still under $460. if I didn't live so far away, these guys would be my new shop. great and honest work, took care of my needs and more and still came in under the quote. great job Erik and John's service center!!!

I've been here a couple times, they serviced my previous car for a major issue I was having. New vehicle and they took care of a minor problem I was having that Jeep makes something that should be quite simple....very difficult. Both Eric's are great and super helpful. Highly recommend.

I mentioned my brakes wore out too fast and they replaced my brakes at no cost. I didn't ask them to do it for free, they just did it. Nice guys.

Eric and Steve and the rest of the crew are dope!They’ve done all the service on my 2001 Toyota Sequoia since it was new, and it’s still kicking a** in Tahoe, in the snow, on dirt, over rocks, hauling tools, a dirt bike on the back, towing other stuck trucks out, whatever else I find to throw at it. 220k miles. Worth the trip to get it in to these guys... and that’s a 7 hour drive.Not expensive, and (reassuringly) not cheap, and what they fix stays fixed. And they let me know when I’m trying to go overboard on what needs to be done, which has saved me quite a bit over the years.Full recommendation from this kid.They even keep my Mom’s 2000 Jaguar running, no easy task, let me tell you!

John's Service Center has been in business for many decades for a reason. They are solid mechanics who charge a reasonable price and only recomend repairs that are needed. Ask for Steve or Eric.
