The clothes were fabulous. However, I overheard something by the store clerk (most likely the manager or store owner not sure) that left me feeling not so great to the point where I dropped the clothes I was going to buy and walked out. Two times, I heard the woman working with long black hair make comments to what seemed like regular customers or friends she knew. And these comments were …. Not the best.First comment was that she offered a particular customer a piece of clothing to try on. She then whispered to her younger co worker/floor girl that she should only offer this piece to “special clients” okay that was whatever and I brushed it off.I continued trying on clothes and walking around until I overheard something else.The second comment I heard was that a new customer (‘I could only imagine it was a “regular” of the store) came in looking for a specific pair of pants and she needed a small size. However, there was a woman trying on the small in the fitting room. The place is tiny, so you can hear everything. The woman with the long black hair says “oh give me one second I’ll get them from her” and points to the dressing room. She proceeds to knock on the wall where this woman was trying on clothes and says “hi ma’am are you done with those pants? I’ve actually already sold them so I need them back” Are you kidding me, I was shocked?!?! And THEN the woman trying on the clothes said back, “yes but these fit me and I was going to buy them” to which this woman with the long black hair said “oh well let me see if I can find anymore in the back” at this point I was disgusted and left. She did not already sell the pants ad I watched her just lie to the customer. She just had another customer come in (who she was more friendly with) looking for that size to try on. I had high hopes for this place when I walked in but it was a very pretentious or snobby atmosphere that I did not want to be involved with.

Love love love! Wish I discovered this place to shop sooner, amazing curated selection. I usually go back home to New York to shop, really happy I found this place! Service was fantastic and they picked the perfect pieces. I ended up wearing them out tonight. Will definitely be my go to spot to shop locally!

Every time I shop at BLVD, I have a better and better experience. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The store is immaculately maintained and constantly updating with new merchandise. I can always be sure I will find something for whatever occasion I am shopping for. I am always so happy when I can support this gem of a small business in my neighborhood!!

Don't waste your time. Other reviewers were right. I gave my daughter my card to go buy something at a few stories. She is in college and could use a nice day out. These people acted like she shouldn't be shopping there. When she asked to try something on they questioned her several times of if she really wanted to try it on. Why do you want to shop at a place that makes your feel inferior? Customer service is dead! Go somewhere that appreciates you.

Such a great experience at BLVD. The store has something for everyone, very edited, clean and exceptional product. Staff was super knowledgable, honest and helpful. Perfect for gift giving too. Love supporting this small business. Beautiful store!

When I shop, I prefer to not have it be presumed that I cannot afford to shop. Rather, please do not talk to me about how much things cost, unless I ask. It's presumptuous! It's insensitive! It's totally inappropriate! I worked for Louis Vuitton and other luxury retailers for over 10 years. What I experienced today was a "ugh let's get her out of here quick because she's not the type of customer we want and she can't afford anything anyway" It's not good customer service to profile that way. There's absolutely nothing in your shop that I couldn't buy if I wanted to, but moreover, even if I could only afford a candle, your judgement would still not be warranted. Especially considering that almost everything you sell, can be found online for less than what you sell it for. Don't judge a book by it's cover. If this wasn't the only shop in all of Manhattan Beach that had what I needed, I would've absolutely gone elsewhere.

I absolutely love and recommend shopping with BLVD - artistically curated with intention behind each find, and top-notch customer service! The shop owner, Brie, was beyond accommodating and friendly. Immediately answered my questions and helped me get a piece I had been eyeing for months. I felt like I was talking to an old friend - when someone's passion for what they're doing shines through, it's undeniable. Amazing selection! So well-curated. I walk into this shop and want everything in it! It's not often anymore you can go to a local boutique and find interesting pieces...usually, you have to hit up a big shop like Neiman's or Nordstrom to get the selection. Thanks for being such a little gem in my neighborhood!
