Me and a friend went in on Tuesday, July 23rd and got followed by a manager. It started when we walked in and laughed about a candle. We weren’t trying to be obnoxious, loud, or cause a scene, but it obviously left the manager in a bad mood. She started following us around the store, and giving us looks. Meanwhile we’re just browsing and not causing any scenes or being too loud. She told her other coworkers about us, and how we were “misusing products” and not using testers. All we were doing was sniffing candles and hand sanitizer, like everyone does. I see everyone doing it, as it’s just what you do when you go into bath and body works. We weren’t using any products that were not testers, as that’s disrespectful to do so. While we were about to buy hand sanitizer, we were sniffing some to see what we liked. The manager (who was already following us) came up and told us to make sure we’re only using testers. It’s not what she said, it’s how she said it. She told it to us like we were children and she was lecturing us when we were doing nothing wrong. It was just a very condescending tone and it wasn’t nice at all. If she was nice about it we would have let it go. We’re grown adults and we do not deserve to be talked to like that, followed, and looked down upon. We told a worker there and overall we just got a rude vibe from the manager. I don’t want to be rude about it and I hate causing a scene, but I don’t tolerate being followed for no reason and being talked to rudely. We left without buying anything. It kind of felt like she expected us to steal as well, which was pretty disrespectful as well because we were legitimately customers.

Very easy to pick up on line order. Of course I bought more stuff because sale prices were excellent.

Great location, good workers, good service very friendly and helpful. Of course the product is top-notch, which is why we come here often but I do want to say something about the vibe that it just feels good.

4/16 . When I walked into the /store, I had to ask for help as the woman with the black eyelashes was on the phone . The other one at the cashier Jessica was rude , and non chalant about cashing on my rewards .

I just left this store and this the 3rd time in a row I've had the most negative experience with a sales associate named Emily. She is extremely aggressive and unhelpful. I asked her about the new popular fragrances that I saw on tiktok as I was extremely excited to purchase some. When I asked her about them she had the WORST attitude and told me that they do not sell them in store and it was only online and that I was lucky if I could even find them there. I told her that I saw someone purchasing some in a store. She told me that was only in some stores but that they didn't have them there. I understand if you didn't have them there but please don't misinform people and tell them they are ONLY online. Also - this is not the first experience I've had with Emily making me uncomfortable and wanting to leave. Even my boyfriend was excited to purchase something with me but after the rude encounter I had he told me he didn't have any interest in purchasing from that store if they were going to treat me like that. I've worked in customer service and I know better than to ever speak to someone the way she has to me. Good luck having her as an employee and making sales goals.

Unable to find the entrance. Will return another day when I have more time to locate the entrance. Positive others will find items and scents they like. Happy shopping ?

The young lady that greeted when I walked in was very nice, helpful and attentive. I wish they would have given some tips on money saving when purchasing at their place.

After a long day working at the hospital and going t to the Apple store, I stumbled across Bath and body Works here in Manhattan Beach to find a beautiful candle to impress my husband and I ran across Britney in the store. She was so amazing. She made me laugh and made my experience amazing Thank you so much Brittany you definitely shift the atmosphere where it's comfortable and fun to shop at best cashier!!!

I love this location, and I've never have a hard time finding my items! The greeters are super sweet and very knowledgeable!! I'd love to give this store a 5 star rating because of the girls that work there. But for the life of me I cannot seem to understand what the Manager, Maribel's issue is, so this rating has unfortunately gone down. I've come into this store on several occasions. SEVERAL. Initially I thought she may have been having a bad day when I encountered her weeks ago, but yesterday put the icing on the cake. She is rude, demeaning, and has very poor customer service skills. I'm not sure why she has a managerial role in customer service because it's quite obvious she doesn't want to work there.

Once again I went to pick up my order hoping and praying it would go smooth. Not at all if I could give a negative star this store would -10. The manager Maribel is rude and has no sense of customer service. She is beyond rude worst then terrible. How she still has a job is beyond me.

As the mall was closing (and store still with several customers shopping) I entered Bath and Body Works with my 4 year old son. An aggressive sales woman came stomping at me 'we are closed you need to leave'. I said 'the door wasn't locked so I thought you were open' and she physically put herself between me and the store as if I was going to shop despite being told they were closed. 'No you have to leave, no we are closed, no' she kept repeating. I get it being Sunday and ready to go home but this is Manhattan Beach not Detroit. Manners and customer service go a long way.
