So conveniently located almost next to Corepower Yoga! Stopped by after a sweaty sculpt class and very glad I did. Staff was super friendly and helpful obtaining items from the stockroom that I was interested in (yoga mat bag and dry bag) and let me test them…I have had an LL mat bag that I emptied and loaded up the Alo bag — not only did everything fit but also had more wiggle room to get a not-super-tightly-rolled-up mat in, which is always a struggle after class. Despite shopping through closing time, staff was very patient/not ushering me out. Definitely recommend this location and anything by Alo! High five to Emily for always being so helpful!

The BEST Alo store in California.The store is always neat and clean. The staff is so friendly and amazing customer service. Juan the store manager is the best! Every time I go to this store I have an amazing experience.

I been to several different location of alo that I love and support this brand but manhattan location is worst service compare to other location. I wouldn’t say it’s rude not saying hello welcome just overall with their attitude it was disappointed.. Last time when I visited manhattan location I think store got robbed that every security was front of store talking with one employee but that one employee was basically tracking me and my friend giving the look maybe it’s bc i had big bag from different store and understood that they are just trying to make sure ..after that I visited again lot of employees was nice saying hi trying help looking for size but while I was paying I don’t understand why would employee say infront of my face “if they take too long make them go back to the line and pay for it” it was because my mom went to look something but she didn’t have to say like that bc we end up paying right away after she said that if we took 5min or more than that I would understand also my dad asked one of employees where is alo originally from and she said “Here “ I think she try to say it’s from LA but how she answer with attitude gave me bad feelings and if I was her I wouldn’t answer like that to customers who is older than me beside this experience other were so nice and helping us alot ..

Rude sales person. I bought few items and she rang me totally wrong and over charged. Once I told her she said no it’s correct. After I calculated she said oh ok. I’ll fix it. No apology and she still had attitude. Why do sales if you are going to be rude to customer why ? Totally unhappy with my experience at Alo

Are your employees trained not to greet and make people not feel welcomed? Or is it based on if you look like you have money or not and race? I have walked into this store twice to see if I can find something in person that I saw online and both times not one "hello, do you need help" or any type of customer service smh. Save your money and go elsewhere or shop online.

Im a frequent customer here at Alo in manhattan beach and I cannot believe the customer service I received today.I walked in and was not even greeted. I proceeded to walk to the back of the store to look at the new sneakers- asked the employee how much they cost as there is no visible price on the shoes. She said $140. I thought that was a fair price so then i asked for my size and tried them on. I said they were fine. I was surprised she didn't take them to the counter for me so I grabbed them myself .Stood at the register for a bit as I was waiting for the one other customer to get rung up, it was taking a little bit so then I asked someone if someone else can ring me up, the employer, whom I'm about to address was rude to the start. She was condescending with her answer when she agreed to ring me up.After I left, I saw that the shoes were charged $185 not $140 like the other employee said it was. I called the store and said that was very misleading to the consumer. She did not want to rectify the situation at all. Proceeded to tell me she reviewed the camera and said we most likely misheard the first girl. I was. Very offended as she was basically saying it's heresay.I asked for her name and she hung up on me. I called back 3 more times but no answer. It's unbelievable! Beware of this store!!!!?

Have had pretty good experiences at this location, but I'm sure it's because I'm always Alo'd out head to toe. I've seen the employees be not so welcoming to others. The selection is small compared to other locations. Pretty decent.

Just had a very poor interaction at this store and will not be returning. I tried to exchange a hoodie I had mistakenly purchased without trying it on. I wore it once and did not like the fit/style (was really boxy with no shape) I have the receipt and tag. I told the employee at the desk I would like to exchange for a different style and she said somewhat rudely "I need to check first and make sure it's in return condition"She then pulled it out of the bag like it was something truly disgusting and then peered at it over and over inspecting every inch then told me she could not accept as a return because she found some area where she could tell it had been worn. I had already told it I had worn it once and did not like the style/fit. She told me sheCould not accept as exchange and then had the nerve to try and tell me the same hoodie came in different colors and maybe I could try and buy one of those instead. After I had said I wanted to exchange for a different style hoodie bc I didn't like the fit/style- she's refusing my exchange then trying to tell me I can go buy the same hoodie in a different color? Yeah, no.I will not be back. Lots of other stores in area selling similar fitness gear in same price range with better products and return/exchange policies.

This location is a solid OK. Upon walking in I was greeted and that was nice. The sales associate showed me a cute pair of pants to try on so I was HYPE! However, after being sent to the fitting room someone came to check on me and ask how things were going almost right after I closed the fitting room door (I was putting my bag down and hadn't even taken my own pants off). I don't know if this is the same girl who helped me at the front or what but it was so weird lol Overall, I felt uncomfortable here (maybe from the fitting room thing ) and probably will shop online if I do end up getting the pants I tried on earlier.

I love alo so much! I wear it almost everyday ? the workers are sososo nice and always greet you when you walk in. When u want to try things on there is always a room waiting for you! I’m a local around the area and it’s nice seeing manhattan village get the treatment they deserve

I came across Alo Recently and fell in love with the clothes! I especially loved how comfortable their trousers are! Their sales manager Andrea Velasco was so sweet and such a great help! She answered all my questions and showed me so many options in the Styles I liked. The customer service was honestly better than I could have imagined. I am definitely coming back.
