Great shop, even greater staff! I've been skiing for 30+ years and the last 5 have been a world of crippling foot pain. Several boots and boot fitters later (including expensive Shurfoot Liners), I tried Kitredge for a fresh start. In 1 year, my left foot grew 5/8" longer while both feet slimmed down overall which posed a tough challenge. Both Tim + Preston are top-shelf boot fitters and because of their expertise, I'm back to enjoying this sport again. It took a couple demo's to find the right boot (low volume Lange's instead of mid volume), and a couple more visits to have Tim/Preston build boot wedges + spacers to fine tune the foot placement and I couldn't ask for a better fit! Best of all, I didn't need expensive Shurfoot liners. These guys really know their craft. Highly recommended!!

Great equipment, friendly staff, lots of gear to rent or buy. I went skiing and cross-country skiing. Very fun!

This place was recommended by ski & sun across the road for their demo boots. We had never heard of this service, but great it exists to help skiers that need or want additional foot support. We had to wait 20 mins to get fitted but worth the wait as my husband got boots that allowed him to ski in comfort all weekend. Value is great if you need the extra foot support.

This is a great local place that's been there for decades. The service is GREAT! Everyone is so helpful, I really appreciate the care they give their customers. I've rented many things here, this last time we rented snowshoes. During summers my husband goes here for his ask fishing needs. Whenever we need stuff in Mammoth, this is our go to spot, we love to give this place our humble business.

Kittredge is the best. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. I had an accident that mangled by foot and skiing was super painful until Tim worked on my boots. THANK YOU, KITTREDGE!

This is the only place we will ever visit for gear. They are extremely knowledgeable and care about the customer, not the sale. They have never tried to upsell us on anything and have always been courteous and kind. Highly recommend you go here for all your ski needs!

Really disappointed by Kittredge Sports. My friend and I needed to rent waders. We called early in the morning advising that we would be coming in late that day and wanted to see if we needed to reserve. We got a definite “no”. So, we started our long drive to Mammoth and got tremendously delayed as the passes were closed. We called at 5:00 to advise we would be arriving at 6:50 and asked them to go ahead and prepare the waders. We got a “we close at 6:00, who told you we were open to 7:00”. My answer “Google Maps”. Response: “oh, we’ve been trying to get Google to change that for weeks”.
So, we found a great delivery service that dropped everything to go pick up the waders. When he shows up, Kittredge won’t release them because they need the person with the credit card to be the same person who gave the credit card”. “This is a legal document. I can’t release the waders without the credit card owners signature”. When I tried to figure out some other way, the closing manager said “it’s just not gonna happen” and then shut me down from any further discussion.
Be assured, I will NEVER step foot in Kittredge.
