If you are looking to buy ski boots and get them to fit just right, Footloose Sports is the place to go. They are very knowledgable, efficient, and have a wide selection of boots. Both Kevin and Van are amazing and have done great work on a variety of boots for us. They are both willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your feet feel great on the slopes. They also do an awesome job tuning your skis, we have had skis tuned in many different places, and Footloose is hands down the BEST!

After finally finding time to make the 6 hour drive to have my boots worked on, I walked out of footloose with the same issues I walked in with, didn’t catch the guys name, not sure if he was lazy that day or what, but he didn’t want to work on my boots, he was trying to just sale me some demo boots, and not to mention I was the only customer at the time until about 30 minutes into talking with this guy another customer walked in and pretty much shined me on and helped the guy who came in after me leaving me sitting there several times waiting. Was really hoping to be able to write a nice review like everybody else has but unfortunately I’m having to write this while my friends are enjoying the mountain and I’m sitting in truck because boots hurt my feet! Pretty much wasted 6 hours driving here for nothing, couldn’t even enjoy skiing!

Best ski shop! My husband has skied 50 years with an achy, protruding ankle bone and Kevin took care of it by making an adjustment on the liner. He’s been to other shops where they have blown out the spot but no one ever knew to do what Kevin did. This shop, as others have stated, knows what they’re doing! We live in Colorado but if we need ski boots we’ll be coming here!

Brilliant for boot-fitting (get Kevin) but very very overpriced on gear. Every other ski shop has great sales by mid-March but here....$50 off a pair of $1k boots and a lousy attitude. I asked if they had any other sales etc or would price match (same boots at Evo & REI were $679) and got ranted at by a woman who told me "this is a family business" and "we don't do price-matching" - as if that justifies retail greediness - and so I replied that I would happily take my business to Evo, a family owned business that understands fair market pricing.

Wow I was throughly impressed with the staff knowledge. I needed to get a pair of goggles that has swappable lenses for low light and sunny days. Special shoutout the guy working in the area googles area. His name is River. He had me grab my helmet to ensure proper fit and consulted me on the entire goggles line up ensured that I got a great fit. I walked outside to see how they worked in real light and then before purchase he did a meticulous inspection of the googles and both of the lenses. He found a lens weld that wasn’t entirely adhered and swapped them out for a pair that met his quality standard. I would highly recommend asking for River to help you with your goggle fit.

I got new ski boots here, and the experience was a mixed bag. The fitting and the boots I got were great, and honestly immediately improved my skiing. The workers that helped me with the fitting were also extremely knowledgeable and friendly. However, the ski adjustments that went with the new boots were a different story. When I got home after a full day of skiing on my adjusted bindings and new boots, I found out that my bindings weren't properly attached and the heel piece was free to slide off when pulled (they seemingly should have been remounted since I went a sufficient amount down in boot size). I could have been severely hurt by that error and was lucky not to, so I can't fully recommend this shop.

I'm forever a footloose girly, thanks to GM Sean! I tried skiing in early January 2024 and rented gear from the mountain... the boots were awful and I almost quit. Fast forward a week later, we had another trip to Mammoth. I decided to visit Footloose and see if they had boots that fit my calves better... turns out they did! I demo'd them but couldn't commit. I came back to Footloose in mid-February. They still had the boots. I demo'd again and when I went to return, Sean was very helpful with everything. He did research on the cost of ordering brand new boots versus cost of purchasing the demos, and all said and done, even threw in a discount on top of the demo days. Since I'm new to skiing, I'm not buying skis yet to make sure I love it but I'll be buying from Footloose when the time comes! Also want to mention that both times I came in to grab demo boots or rental skis, everyone in the store was amazing. They do get busy after dinner time (4-7pm) but they have staff available for quick questions and will get to you ASAP! Also have a very nice selection of apparel and accessories.
