My senior cat was very sick and had a fever. They got her in that day getting her the antibiotics she needed. I was fearful she wasn’t going to make it last night but she pulled through and is getting much better this morning. Great vet listened to all our concerns, caring and experienced.

We were in town for a vacation and our pup had Happy Tail Syndrome. They saw us 10 minutes after calling and the Doctor spent a lot of time with our pup, medicated her and wrapped her tail. He’s amazing! So thankful.

Our dog hurt her leg. We called Alpen and they got us right in, they were reasonable, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We really appreciate our last minute accommodation. What a great experience.

I can't thank Dr. TeSlaa enough for everything he has done for us. He's saved the lives of both my pets, dog and cat. He's been available for us nights and weekends. I've never known a vet so dedicated to caring for animals. I'll always be grateful for his help and kindness

Had a good experience with Alpen Veterinarian Hospital in Mammoth Lakes.
I was in the Yerington area and my Chiwennie got a foxtail in her ear in the late morning and 4pm they had it out. BTW, I had my fishing line in the water by 4:45!
Thank you so much for the positive experience. The receptionist gave us a real accurate quote over the phone, which was extremely competitive considering it against my outstanding Vet in Tecate Mexico, Dipet's Medicina Veterinaria. Sorry, have to give a shout out for them, but I swear that I will NEVER feel stranded knowing that ALPEN Veterinarian Hospital is in 150 mile radius!

Dr. Tesla was awesome. My dog became very ill with a high fever, vommiting, diarrhea. All of the town vets were closed. Dr. T left a telephone number on his business line that connected to his home number. Unheard of, but greatly appreciated! He met me at his office on his day off, and with in hours my dog was on the road to recovery. Highly recommend Dr. Tesla.

Best Vet in town!! Emergency services available on weekends and offers payment plans for those more expensive procedures. Staff and Dr. Tesla are the extremely knowledgeable!

Dr. Teslaa spayed our two kittens, sending home detailed information on what was done and why, plus what to expect and look for after bringing them home. There were no suprises because of this, and recovery went beautifully! Thank you, Dr. T.

This vet put my dog on antibiotics for over a year despite my repeated request to have him address his diarrhea through other methods. My dog actually has a food allergy and as soon as we switched food it completely subsided. The vet has been unprofessional and not cordial to me on multiple occasions. He actually told me I was not giving my dog adequate care even though he was being treated in LA (prior to him) by a very reputable vet in West Hollywood and Santa Clarita where he did a full treatment for giardia and put on probiotics that were helping the situation. He told me that my dog was, "a mess" before coming to him. He also said many issues were discovered by him and neglected. My dog had hip surgery in 2011 and it was 100% known he had joint stiffness and mobility issues. My dog is 15 and has always favored his left side since his surgery.Not only was he dismissive but this vet actually raised their voice to me on the phone when I tried to inquire more about his treatments that my aunt was being recommended. Again, it was deeply unprofessional to not be able to explain the reason for the treatments to the owner of the pet.When I was there again visiting, he was visibly mad when I could not assist in my aunt's cat treatment in the procedure room because I have Vasovagal syncope seeing needles. Instead of telling me kindly to wait in the seating area he begrudgingly told me he'd have to call in his tech to help. Isn't that what your tech is for? Why would you not have any respect for someone's medical condition and verbally chastise them. This vet seems extremely unhappy with his profession and does not respect his clients.If this vet cannot interact with customers, answer question, and treat people with respect, I suggest getting another profession.

After 8 seasons as campground hosts in the Red's Meadow Valley, our dogs and cats have been cared for by Dr. Teslaa on several occasions . My Wife and I have nothing but good things to say about our experiences with him for both minor and major issues with dogs and cats.

Dr. Teslaa is amazing and I’m very glad I found this incredible vet hospital! I was able to get easy help after hours and get a same day appointment after my poor dog had an emergency. We got my dog’s blood work back the next day and worked on a treatment plan from there; I had to leave my dog with them so he could get IV fluids and I knew he was in good hands, it’s clear that all of the wonderful people at Alpen Vet Hospital really care about your animals. Even better, everything was more affordable than when I would take my sweet old senior cats to the vet in the city that I used to live in! Really good vets can sometimes be hard to find and I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful team here in Mammoth, I’ll be going to them as long as I live in the area and recommending them to all of my friends with pets. Thank you for taking such good care of my pup!
