“We are extremely lucky we had the opportunity to send both of our children (ages 3 and 1) to Malibu Methodist. Some of things I found so unique about this school are:1. Teachers - most of them are very experienced (20+ years) and are genuinely some of the kindest ppl we’ve ever met. They genuinely love these children :)2. Outdoors and nature - nature is a big part of the MMNS experience, which was important for us given we’re coming from NYC where kids are seldom outside. Our son thrived and was noticeably more happy after his first month at MMNS.3. Independence - both of my children became much more independent after a few months at MMNS. The teachers encourage the kids to open their own lunchboxes, carry their own book bag and express your feelings/ ask for what you want as a way of instilling self reliance and confidence into the children.4. Parent community- this was a bonus* the kids become so social and eventually friends ( inviting each other to birthday parties, etc) so naturally the parents all become friends as well. It was nice to connect and swap stories with other parents about our shared experience as parents of toddlers. Eventually, we all grew close and did play dates, beach walks and community festivals together. This was the bonus we werent expecting but absolutely loved and it was all thanks to Malibu Methodist. Not every school comes with a “community” (trust me) but MMNS has one to tap into if you’re open to it.”

“Gan is like a warm hug. It’s a place that feels like your family is taking care of your baby. It’s a wonderful school and an incredible community, one in which we’ve been so grateful to be a part of for 3 years. Our twin boys started here at Gan at 2 years old and just graduated at 5 years, now they’re off to Kinder. Bittersweet! Sarah and Rabbi Levi are such warm and nurturing people (and parents!). We have enjoyed our time at Gan so much and are forever grateful for the wonderful experience our boys have had, and for the truly exceptional teachers who have cared for and taught them so much over these years. Once in the Gan fam, you’re always in the Gan Fam, and its truly been our pleasure to call this community our home. “The Malibu Jewish Center is like a second home to my children and me. When I moved to Malibu five years ago, I found the preschool for my youngest daughter. I wish I would’ve found it sooner for my two older children as it was the best experience for my youngest daughter. She thrived and was very ready when she entered kindergarten. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. The director, Jennifer is one of the reasons that makes the school so special and unique. The environment was warm and welcoming. I would recommend this preschool to everyone who wants to feel like having your child go to an extension of their home.”
