First time here and it won't be the last. Was invited for a birthday lunch and can't get over how fantastic the food was, the service perfect, and the outdoor dining area just beautiful. Although I am not a tennis player I would take it up with gusto if it was the only way I could have lunch here!!!

Tucked away behind Pepperdine is a lovely patio dining spot, in the hustle and bustle of Malibu this is a quiet oasis. The food is delicious and the tennis courts are the entertainment. The service is personal and attentive. Don't leave without trying the Mushroom fries.

MRC is a very special place. The tennis courts are immaculate and the Sparrow cafe has great food. Lots of healthy options. The waitstaff are all wonderful. They are kind and attentive and remember your name. I can't say enough about Malibu Racquet Club. It is my happy place.

Every single male waitstaff and bartender was maskless inside. I don't want to order food and drink and have their particles of spit go all over my food during a pandemic. What happened to the competent female wait staff? Why aren't they adhering to the code that is suggested where everyone wears a mask inside again?

The place is very nice and the food is good but the waitstaff needs a major upgrade. We kicked things off with a simple request for water with lemon and the guy brings me a lemonade... then I ordered a Mediterranean bowl with salmon and he completely forgets the salmon. He puts the meal down and I ask, "where's the salmon?" and he goes, "oops, you want that?" He goes and puts in the salmon and brings it out after I was done with my food. So basically, I had quinoa and kale with salmon for dessert. He then had the audacity to include it on the bill and refused to remove it when I questioned it. He said, "you should have said you didn't want the salmon when I forgot and asked if you still wanted it." What a moron!

This place was nice at one time. The food is still good but the staff is so remarkably incompetent that it is astounding. The waiter that my family and I had today got nothing right. Nothing. Not only that, he was curt and unwilling to make anything right. As a long term Malibu local, it makes me sad to see this place sink to such a new low, exclusively because of the staff. Very simply, I won't be back until the obnoxious waiter we had to deal with today is gone. And I'll be spreading the word.

Omg. This place is a hidden gem i almost don't even want to review it! My friend takes me here every now and then and it's my favorite little spot to have a drink, and watch the racquet players. MRC is the best! Food id recommend: Tuna Melt Grilled Chicken sandwich Alcoholic Drink: Mint lemonade with champagne

THE BEST TENNIS CLUB AND RESTAURANT.Yes - I shouted that.The tennis director.The food.The restaurant service.The courts.Just AMAZING. My husband and and I ate pulled pork sandwich and the bento plate and the chocolate cookies and wow - just wow.BUT what makes this club stand out are THE STAFF. Every time I have been here they are amazing. Tonight it was Pepe - he really cares about his customers!!!I love MRC!!!

The one star is for the RUDE waiter whom my sons and I ran into this morning at the club. As we were seating to wait for my son's match to start, a young white male waiter came by to ask if we want to order anything for breakfast. I politely said no since we've just ate. So the BOY waiter said "You are seating in the restaurant area, and if it get busy later on, I WILL HAVE TO KICK YOU OUT"!!! Where are they finding these waiter? Off Sunset Blvd? Pathetic
