I have shopped here for over 20 years! The original store burned down years ago. That was the place to shop!! This store should be ashamed of themselves! Prices so high! This is a THRIFT STORE!!!!! Items are donated! I have a lot of experience and a lot of knowledge as far as pricing goes!! Their prices are a true joke!! They don't know what they're doing! This isn't Macy's or Gottschalk's...So so so disappointed!!

Great selection and value. Ladies that work there are all kind and helpful. Great prices. Receive a 50% coupon on certain days.

Not very friendly or at least the young girl at the front counter. High prices here too. Just because it's a name brand doesn't mean it will sell for $30. Some prices on jackets were just as much as the store. I wanted to look at baseball hats but they have them behind the counter which I get. I waited in long line because there was only 1 cashier. I asked her if I can look at the hats and she asked which one. I just asked if she could bring the hook of them down because there were a bunch behind and I couldn't see. She said no, that need to know which one. I said can you bring me a few at a time then so I can see? No.. How are you supposed to sell hats if customers can't see them? Like I was really going to run away with them or something. After her rude attitude I just put down my other items and left. Please teach your employees better.

This is a very big thrift store and it is well organized. It is, however, not necessarily cheaper than Walmart or Target. In fact, I heard a woman commenting on that very fact as she walked around on the phone. That said, if you don't have a car, or want local thrifted items, there is a big selection. Look for half off days on M-Th!

I was out thrifting for affordable decor for my new classroom and found a few cute items. Very easy to navigate the store. Not too crowded even on a Monday when they have half off deals. I'll definitely go back.

This store is OK I guess. Its only worth it if you have one of their pink 50% off coupons to use on the days that aren't 30-50% off. They do tend to have a lot off sports jerseys which im super into. I also found a shower massager which my wife seems to really enjoy. Found a good leather belt which my kids dont like for some reason.

Not as organized as I thought and the person on the counter had some judgment in her tone

Their prices compared to lots of other thrift stores are ridiculous! Not sure how or who does their pricing but it’s laughable even with a 50% off coupon. They often ask $29.99 for anything “name brand” even if it’s stained. No stains just very used? $49.99 lol. Unfortunately this is not an exaggeration.

If you go in on a Monday or Thursday everything is half off and they will give you a coupon for half off that you can use as long as it is not expired. Your coupon might expire in a few days or a few weeks who knows--they date stamp them every two weeks and the dates on them are random. On a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday you can get a coupon for 75% off on Sunday. It all sounds great, but they just make it too hard for me to take them seriously. I shop at all the Thrift Centers from Bakersfield to Merced and this shop is definitely the weakest link. Due to my business, I spend a lot buying for my online store and I would probably spend upwards of $400 there a month. Drawn out over the five years that I have lived in the Central Valley that would add up to nearly $20K that I would have spent at this store that I ended up spending elsewhere because it is just too complicated and difficult since I live forty miles away and I can't drop everything to come and grovel for a coupon. As someone who runs my own small business, I give out coupons because I want people to buy my stuff. I do not make them jump through hoops in order to cash in on a deal because I think that defeats the purpose. In the five years that I have occasionally shopped at this store, I have encountered exactly one friendly person. Everyone else is not friendly at all and that is never a plus.

The store is dirty, and you can buy new clothes at Ross for cheaper. I found dresses and blouses priced on average of $9.99 up to $30.00 and they were not new or name brand to justify price.
