What makes this gym good, 1) large gym so you have ample room to move around for your free weight exercises 2)variety of machines 3) open 24 hours most days & 4) price $15, can’t beat that
The Cons 1) lot of kids hang around taking the machines 2) always busy! So you run a programs with specific machines, come at times people aren’t here 3)*** FRONT DESK SERVICE SUCKS! I usually don’t get greet or goodbye. It doesn’t bother me, just an observation if service is important to you

I think it’s pretty ridiculous that there are so many KIDS here . It’s NOT fair for the members that actually pay for membership. You can hardly workout because the kids are always hogging the equipment. There should be a time frame for the kids to be able to get in their “workout” in and leave . I can almost guaranteed the members that pay for membership do not want to see kids playing around on equipment when they get off work .

I wouldn’t recommend the Madera location what so ever ! What I’ve noticed specifically is the front desk employees tend to stand around and talk like there a bunch of high school kids , extremely unprofessional … Besides that I was accused of not having a black card when I attempted to use the extra amenities that are offered … Planet fitness Police lol this particular employee ( she ) kept swearing that she had noticed me walk in with a friend that had a black card , and I didn’t ! so she needed to look me up to verify my membership ???…. .. Either way , machines are always hard to get on due to
the type of people that frequent this location kids and machine camp out specialists !

all the workers their respectful expect this one who’s name is junior venegas he’s rude and always just going around the gym talking to the females for half a hour. He’s always harassing my son and his friends to go to different machines cancelled my membership and looking somewhere else.

I have been a long time
Member and loved everything about this gym until recently. This gym has gotten packed with young teens that are breaking machines playing around like it’s a jungle gym, sitting on machines for over 30 mins on their phones with not one rep completed. I timed this. Bless the staff that is enforcing the rules for us Paying adults who don’t have 4 hours to be at a gym. Shame on the fact this gym turned into a day care. I am at the point where I would rather drive to Fresno. Please enforce the rules for these children so you don’t lose your paying customers. And thank you Bianca and Santos for always being so kind and helpful and making us paying members feel comfortable in a gym full of disrespectful kids!

Staff have been harassing my dad, threatening to terminate his PF membership if he doesn’t provide a credit card as an alternative form of payment on his account. He has always paid via automatic withdrawal payment from his checking/debit account. There has never been a payment issue in the past, so why are they harassing and threatening a senior that is on a monthly fixed income??? That is also very presumptuous that everyone has a credit card to even put on file!
It sounds like there are a lot of students that are taking advantage of no cost access, without knowing or using any basic gym etiquette as it is… maybe PF should focus on trying to retain actively paying customers rather than threatening to cancel memberships!

Gym is pretty clean and I’m glad some of the employees are following safety protocols for the minors. Santos has also taking the initiative to ensure the proper use of machine and that they are not being occupied unnecessarily. I hate that I’d like to use a machine and some people are not using it. He’s super chill and works with a lot of parents when disciplined is needed.

With the summer time in full effect; there are more kids in the gym taking advantage of the free membership. Thank you to the staff member for trying to keep everything clean, organized and well managed with the increase of unaccompanied minors.

This is the friendliest gym or exercise class I have ever been to! The coaches all know my capabilities (and when to push me) and the atmosphere is supportive and fun. I never thought I would enjoy strength training and sweating so much. Biggest Thanks to my boys football coach who is a trainer at the Madera Facility Santos Jr Venegas for all you do not only for my boys but for training me! If I have to recommend anyone I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Santos Jr Venegas! ?
