I will never go back I was verbally abused by Louie the service manager in front of three females that work there ,one her name is Rosa the other was the receptionist and the third is a service advisor , I was there to pick up a car with Louie he rudly told me to wait and after 20 minutes I asked the receptionist for help she was trying to help me also Rosa when Louie walked up to me and said very rudly and disrespectful , Why are you asking them for help you don't need to be asking them for help i said i would help you I am looking for the keys you are only slowing down the process now it's going to take longer, I actually felt he wanted to hit me at that moment I was shocked I told him I felt I was being ignored and I just drove 3 hrs to pick up this car and I had other pickups he said he didn't care I can leave i said i would rather wait for him to find the keys . While I was waiting the girls were walking past me doing their job with fear in their face looking down as they passed me. I feel he also verbally abuses them but they are afraid to speak up and loose their job. A person like this should not be in a managing position at any job. He looked down on me because he was seeing a tow truck driver that didn't matter , I hope that they take the correct disciplinary action and deal with this before they loose more business .

Tried to scam me. Paid for 550 for diagnostic and they had my truck for 2months. They just guessed and said it was possibly transmission and I needed a new one. I took to small shop mechanic and it was just a damn sensor that cost me 24.99.. they are scammers and thieves!!!

It's been about 3yrs, there is 2 or 3 parts on my car on recall.! Lol (no joke) but I get it, $ talks about you if you're only driving a very USED car.!!

Rosa was my service advisor. Apparently, she works part-time, so she was impossible to get ahold of. Communication was terrible (and that's a generous statement). I once whent 9 days where I called 12- 14 times, and they never reached out to me. They had my vehicle 28 days, cleared some recalls, and replaced a fuel sensor. Also diagnosed another issue that I took it to another shop for repair. Charged me 2- $225 service fees because they diagnosed 2 problems. Drove it off the lot, and the check engine light was back on by the time I hit the corner. Oh, bring cash or a checkbook - they charge a 3% service fee for credit cards (I'm sure that was in the small print with the 2 diagnostic fees- I'm also sure they are legally correct to charge thise fees, I just question their ethics). Never any real attempt at service recovery. My advice is to steer clear. There are plenty of other places to go.

Stay away from Gill Automotive Group!!!!2022 GMC Denali with 21,000 miles.3/24/23 Motor seized took it to @gillautogroup to be repaired it sat in there dealership for over a month.5/13 Picked up my family car 30 minutes after driving off and on the freeway my car started to jerk violently and smelled burnt finally we heard a loud pop and we went flying off the freeway at 70 miles nearly killing our selves and other commuters that day.5/13 Towed to be repaired.6/6 Picked it up with the same issue and same rim that was riding bare when we had the blow out.As a business owner I contact them and took my car back to the for them to repair it l. I understand things happen and get over looked and since I have personally been servicing Gill for over 15 years I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix it. However I was greeted by Loui the service manager who accused me of tampering with the vehicle and refused to fix the issue. I had no choice but to contact Fresno BAR and have a different Tire location here in Madera fix their life threatening errors.I spoke to the Service Manager and that was a joke. I spoke to the dealership manager and that was a joke I'm still waiting for a call back months later and I spoke to the owner who referred me back to the service manager.I wish I had never given them the opportunity to try to make it right (which they did not) I wish I would have called my insurance on that dreadful day. I carry my kids my most valuable possession in this car and this is the type of treatment I got from a multi million dollar dealership.It would be wreck-less of me to continue to stay quiet about such a poor service experience and such a life threatening mistake !Where's my money at @gillautogroup I want my car payments for the months my car sat in your dealership, for the loss of use and for the hassle it's been for you to make it right.Best Regards,Carmen Flores#gillautogroup #madera #maderacarsales

8 years later. Revisiting my reviews. This review brings back nightmares. I mean just look at his response. Have purchased 5 cars since, a Honda Civic in Palmdale a Chevy trax at car max, a Kia Optima Hybrid at Ontario Kia, a VW New Beetle at Riverside VW and Audi A3 at Temecula Audi and most recently my 2nd Chevy Camaro from Hemet Chevy and Jim and company is still by far the worst I've ever had in car buying experiences.

Have had a dodge ram in the serv. dept. for a new engine replacement for over 2 months, keep getting told engine is on way. was told a month ago truck was going to be done by mid Feb. but still no engine. Department is slow to respond.

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Gill Auto in Madera. There were extra fees for Shield GPS and Security Theft that we were not interested in. We were told that those fees could not be removed as the tracker and etching are done as soon as the vehicle comes off the truck (per finance). We were really happy with our purchase until a few days after when we noticed an oil leak. Initially, we thought it was coming from the oil pan and called the service department. We were told that we would have to bring the vehicle in and they would have an investigator determine if the leak was covered under the powertrain warranty (that the sales staff spoke highly of). After having a local mechanic look over the vehicle, we discovered the oil leak was actually coming from the oil filter housing. Another phone call to the service department only to find out that this fix was not covered under the powertrain warranty and would cost another $1200. We believe they were well aware of this leak when they inspected the vehicle 3 weeks prior.
