Over the years it honestly feels like things just keep getting worse with Camarena. Good luck getting Rx refills, referrals to specialists, etc. If you're lucky and get a caring person on the phone you may get somewhere but God help you if you get someone with an attitude which seems like the rule rather than the exception. I dread calling in anymore and the App is useless. I've called in three separate times to have the app issue resolved to avoid needing to call in and each and every time they say they'll have someone look into it. I have a feeling it's the same person that looks into everything else for them because it goes no where like everything else. I told them my wife and son already left for another provider and even that turned into an argument. Why is medical care in the United States so bad?!

1. Messing up medication drugstore multiple times 2. Behavior health is now very unreliable 3. web site SAYS i am not registered, no one is helping. 4. Did not receive answer to questions and now cannot look at my record. It has been a nightmare. IF I HAD OTHER OPTIONS, I WOULD USE THEM Find other place to go.

Long wait times, rude doctors that do not care about you at all, and worse is Dr Patel. He pressed his private area on my nieces leg once. Beware ladies

They called me and said my dad's appointment had to be rescheduled because the doctor was going to be out of the office. You would think for next week, maybe even two weeks but no; It would be until October. I asked if another doctor could see him, they said no at first and then Maria, the very rude receptionist, said he could see another doctor but they could not prescribe any medication, do any refills, or give him his lab results. Then what's the POiNt! This place is seriously a joke. Horrible everything.

This place is a joke and an embarrassment for our community. I recently had an preventative appointment. I had a Pap smear done and had to ask the provider to order my mammogram and annual labs. I then tried to schedule the appointment for a mammo and was told the order was never entered. Why is it such a hassle when I meet the ordering guidelines and have PPO insurance. This place is a joke.

My elderly mother (she's 89) and forgetful....has been repeatedly neglected by Camarena Health. They do NO follow-up. They left her with a broken leg for 6 weeks before they realized that the original x-ray that was taken wasn't a good one! She complained about continuing pain and finally I had to call from New York to get their attention to this matter!This pattern has been repeated over and over. The only way to get certain things to happen is to be VERY direct and inform them that they WILL take care of my mother NOW! I cannot say enough bad things about this practice. I strongly advise you to go elsewhere!

My husband went to this location for an eye exam. He was prescribed glasses which were much needed. He had a great experience. He said everyone is very friendly.

My daughter had a primary that no longer works there. She saw a new Dr and he took her off her meds and put her on something different. She had an allergic reaction and when I called the office they said her Dr was only there on Saturday... It's Monday. There is no other Dr to cover him the other 6 days of the week. My daughter nearly died, and I was told to leave a message for her new primary and they will mark it urgent. So.... In 5 days we might get a response for a lethal medication that was prescribed.

Camarena Health is horrible! They have no sense of urgency at any level! They meaning, all of the office workers. They are a lazy group of office chatters that really need to focus on their jobs. It's called getting the job done! They all need to be replaced. Don't bother since there is no one to complain to!

This is the worst medical facility ever. I am a chronic asthmatic and spoke to someone as i know I am getting an infection and was informed that I need a covid test, which is fine, but I asked if the dr. Could prescribe antibiotics so that my infection would not turn into pneumonia and was told they don't do that if you have medi-cal. You have to get a negative test and then an X-ray test before they will treat you. so basically they will let me die beforw I will get help. The worst facility ever. Also pa kept trying to push me off to hospital, not wanting to speak to or treat me she said I should go to ER.

I unfortunately had strep throat in November. This place was the best. They saw me quick and immediately knew what the issue was. I got a penicillin shot and the strep throat was gone in 3 days. I also got prescribed some ibuprofen just to help with any discomfort. All staff was friendly. Great experience!

I normally like to be very considerate of giving low reviews but I feel that what I have experienced this past week warrants it in hopes of some change. I want to begin with how difficult it is to even schedule an appt. If the front desk individuals don't feel it warrants an appt getting one is impossible. The severity should be determined by a doctor not someone answering a phone. Therefore one has to exasperate the situation in order for an appt. Secondly once you have the appt either the line cuts off or you get no resolution. I sadly felt the doctor just wanted to pawn us off to the emergency room which should not be the case as they are flooded. I feel that there needs work to be done to really show the care for the patients and in this small town there is a monopoly in health care and our options are limited.
