“We bought a 2023 Corolla three weeks ago, discovered the power outlet (cigarette lighter) was not working to use a USB adapter. We went back where was purchased, the car has gold certified warranty. We were told $210.00 diagnostic machine. If determined user error to damage the outlet, we'd have to pay the fee. If system malfunction, we don't pay the $210. If it was user error, it wasn't us, we've only had it three weeks. It didn't matter. We didn't want to take the chance to be told user error. All this to say, we I took the car to Ruben's. I'd rather pay them instead of Toyota service dept. Within 30 minutes, it was determined the fuse was blown, replaced on the spot! We figured it was the fuse per what we searched online. But Toyota service dept wouldn't even discuss it Wanted to share and give credit to Ruben's Automotive. We have taken our vehicles there for a while and always receive excellent service and reasonable $$. I paid less than peanuts for replacing the fuse. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
