Dr Ambrose is God sent!! I can't say enuff about this man and his practice!! I've witnessed him bring back a dog i honestly thought wud never make it bk to "normal" yet the dog has come bk better then he was before some numerological thing happened to him. Dr. Ambrose is Amazing!! Plus he treats You like family cuz he considers you family. I'm lucky to have been along for the ride to have been able to witness all he is capable of. Love this man!!

I tried several times to call them and get appointment for my puppy.they didn’t respond my callsWhoever is responsible for that is so unprofessional and lazy and she is not smart enough to know if we call to vet that means my dog has health issues and it’s her job to answer my callsI wish I could give them zero star only because of the lady who’s responsible for giving appointment to people

Called left my #trying to fix my cats never got a return call..this is sad cause i use to take my animals there years ago when he 1st started.. He is a good vet tho..

I called to see if they would take my dog in as a new patient. After seeing that my dog had something wrong with her backside for a week or so. The lady on the phone said she'll speak with the doctor and give me a call back. The next day I get a call back and was told that the examination would be $1,000. Any person with common sense should already know this is a huge rip-off. What a shady place. Hospitals like this are the reason veterinarians are picture as money hungry individuals who try to screw the pet owner for every penny they got. I'm not sure how this place got such a high rating. Looks like a lot of people like being ripped-off.

LEAVE A MESSAGE WHEN YOU CALL FOR AN APPT. THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK!!! I figured I'd start by saying that because I've seen a complaint already saying that they never answer the phone. You're right. They don't. They're busy. BUT if you leave a message they will call you back! If you don't leave a message you will be missing out on the best vet in this area.Dr Ambrose really is the best. My dog, Peaches had an ear infection in both ears. He took such good care of her. Over the course of a few months we went back every couple of weeks for him to examine her, and he'd adjust the treatment as needed. In between appointments the staff would call me as well to check up on her, which is so impressive to me. Friends have told me their vets don't do that, even after surgeries.The staff makes you feel welcome there, and like you've known them forever too. And you can really tell that Dr Ambrose really loves the animals he treats. It's obvious that he definitely doesn't do this just for a paycheck. And he's super funny, to boot! :)My dog likes to act like she doesn't like him when we get there because she knows where we are. Lol but she likes him, and she shows him that as we're about to leave. :)She is all better now and I've got Dr Ambrose to thank. And she can hear me a lot better too now it seems. I will definitely be taking all of my animals there from now on for anything they need. I wholeheartedly trust him with them, and I don't think I'd be trusting of any other vet.And my Peaches is a happy baby now!

He was my Vet when we did German Shepherd Rescue in Madera almost 30 yrs ago. I adored Him, while I still do rescue (on a small scale now) where I live, I always compare the Vets I have to use to Dr. Frank Ambrose. He helped me save several German Shepherds. Very kind heart.
