“They are very helpful, no matter which ones are on duty. I’ve lived here for seven years and visit them at various hours and they are the cream of the crop, including my letter carrier. Xerox them or have them teach classes. Lynwood is lucky to have them.”

“Typically I loathe going to the Post Office as much as the DMV. Today however I had the most pleasant experience and here are the reasons why. 1. Parking was readily available ( This post office has a good amount of spaces and there is residential parking available as well. 2. The line was non-existent ( There might have been one person ahead of me in line. PRO-TIP: If you come before 11:30 the line is smaller, they tend to get busier in the afternoon) 3. Pleasant customer service ( Ms. Lucy was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She even double-checked a shipping policy of the receiving address to make sure packages were still being accepted. Thank you Ms. Lucy you're awesome!) I will definitely keep this Post Office in my rotation.”

“BEST PLACE EVER!!! Super professional and helpful, fantastic energy You have to come here, they're much quicker than the post office plus you can get more stuff done in one place! Amazing shop I'm not going anywhere else”

“Michael was very helpful and attentive. He was very friendly and helped me with what I needed to do quickly and efficiently. The location is great as well. The parking isn't as ample as people in these reviews make it out to be. The parking is usually packed, and the parking lines are drawn strangely to where people mispark their cars so sometimes one car takes up two spaces.Besides that there's no long line and wait. Quiet and Clean. Just don't think that the parking lot is huge and plentiful like how these reviews make it out to seem because its not. It is a huge parking lot but half of it is blocked off for employees.”

“This is where I rent my private mailbox, due to my home's mailbox not being secure enough. It's not fun when your neighbors steal your packages! They'll hold your packages for you for free for 2 days. After that, there's a fee... I believe it's $1 or $2 per day. The mailbox lobby has 24 hour access, just plug in your assigned pin at the door keypad. Lisa - the owner - is a sweetheart and recognizes her customers by name. (I think she recognizes me...) There's also one or two adorable Shih Tzus (i think) hanging around the counter, and they're so cute and super friendly.”

“First time coming to this location. Was in the area and needed to mail off my passport to be renewed as well as take care of other packages. Donovan was the team member who carried out exceptional customer service with detailed mailing options and mail times. He knew I was very new to the mailing options so efficiently took care of my concerns. Donovan was thorough, friendly, had some jokes, and process the task smoothly. There was a line but he took care of the customers with a breeze.”

“I came here to get a new passport and I was expecting the worst but was pleasantly surprised with how great the service was. They took me a little before my actual appointment time which helped me get out on time. Lloyd was the exceptional employee that helped me through the process. I had no idea what I was doing and he was so patient and kind. He let me retake my picture so I wasn't stuck with a horrible passport photo. He made sure everything was correct and walked me through the expedited process. His other colleagues were also very kind and helpful. I will be coming back to this location for all of my postal needs! Thank you all!”

“After a journey of more than 32 miles from Korea Town towards USPS de los Félix, heading to the Glendale area, through the 210 area and without success, I went to the USPS headquarters at 7101 south central, finding only negatives, arrogance indifference of the staff in all those locations and terrible service with different pretexts!!”

“Clean, well lit facility, good parking. They do move mails after the 3.30 pm Saturday cutoff so mails arrive 1-2 days faster than having to wait till Monday collection”

“Standing in line this morning I could hear how caring, thorough, and patient each employee was with the customers. My turn in line gave me Cristen. She is customer focused and detail oriented. Plus, she is so pleasant to talk to. That's why I had to ask her for her name. She is great. Thank you for your time.”

“Superb customer service in an immaculate facility is much appreciated. Jay is competent, patient, and always conducts himself as a gentleman of the first order. Efficiency means short standing in line time! Answering every question and addressing each concern promptly, the lines melt away like ice cream in August when Jay and his worthy colleagues are at the counter!”

“It's hard to find a good post office in LA but this one for sure will be my goto! Security is so tight at the door which may upset people but if you can look past that then this is one of the cleanest, quickest post offices I have been to in the city. It's located in the federal building making it nice location and I appreciated the service I got”

“This may have been the most pleasant usps visit I've had as of late.I figured going in for passport stuff would be a hassle but no, as long as you have an appointment, and all your paperwork, it is a breeze. The workers are personable, funny, and like family it seems. The entire application process with an appointment took under half an hour.Downstairs, the non-passport section seemed a bit confused about their own self-service machines and the stamps available upstairs. We got a decent amount of cute snowman stamps from the machine much to the employees surprise somehow.”

“I've been shipping items for a year here now and I've never had an issue. I usually go on weekday mornings and I never experience a long line. Everyone has been very helpful.”

“It sucks I see reviews here that have to do with people being mad that they have no consideration of time when they show up to do a lengthy transaction like a passport "2" mins before passport transactions end. That of course is if the person even had 2 minutes to begin with. Using reviews to blame people for our own irresponsibility is just sad. That being said, I went in today to ship a package and the front office people were super helpful. I felt guilty for being one of those people who waited till the last minute to ship a xmas item. The cashier was very informative and pleasant.”

“I found my package had been shipped to the wrong address (sending location had put the wrong address, probably because mine doesn't show up in the system), and I was so upset since I wasn't able to go home for Christmas and this was my one thing to remind me of my mom. I should've gotten her name, but the lady who answered not only got the carrier to retrieve the package from the wrong location, but also made sure my carrier got the package and delivered it to me. I can't thank my carrier and this angel lady enough. It would've been an extremely depressing Christmas not having anything under my tiny tree, especially from my mom, who is getting older, and who puts so much thought and love into her gifts.”

“Friendly, helpful staff in convenient location. I use this post office at least once a week—and often more—to mail out packages and occasional letters. Would give an extra star if the opening hours were extended”

“[Review #759]2023-045I couldn't remember why I came to this US Post Office in Lomita when there's a perfectly good one down the street about 1/2-mi. from my house in Torrance off Monterey St. However, I did remember why I visited this location... I needed my expired passport to be renewed & we had already booked our flights which departs in 47 days (08/12/19). Gulp! I had to pay a $60 surcharge for the expedited service. It was hump day (06/26/19) with less than 2 hours before closing. I had all my paperwork & expired passport, but wasn't organized with it & still needed to write a check. When you're frazzled, it would be nice to have some reassurance from the postal worker that I have everything in order. She wasn't friendly or all that helpful, but I got everything in the envelope & paid extra for expedited service. Sigh... when I was kid, I really enjoyed quick chats with our mail carriers & looked forward to our letters & packages. I always get a "hello" in, especially during summers when I'm not in school; things have changed a lot since. In any event, I received my new passport the weekend before our trip with 4 days to spare. Whew... talk about the 11th hour! o_O This was our last international trip before the COVID-19 lockdown. We were fortunate for this trip because it was the last time my kids saw their great grandmother in person before she passed on (RIP mormor). Grateful for the speedy return of my passport, but wish the personnel were a bit friendlier.”

“This is my local post office, and every time I come in here the staff is very pleasant. I was there today and was not in the best mood (mailing a letter to my partner which I have not seen in months because of the pandemic - I was feeling down) the person helping me started a conversation and actually brightened up my day. It was exactly what I needed on a day like this. It’s not just about doing your job, it’s about also being human.”

“This is best post office. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating to my disabilities, especially the man with the perfect smile. They're always so nice even when they're really busy. Plus it's across the street from Al and Bea's!!”

“Yesterday, 23Mar2023, I needed to overnight a letter to Austin, TX. I went to the FedEx office on Lakewood Blvd. Fedex wanted $59 for a 1 oz letter. I was shocked at the price. Also, they weren't able to look up my account; they said it no longer existed. I also checked UPS - they wanted $61 for next day and $96 for early morning (8AM) - that's right ninety six dollars!!! I think they've lost their fricken minds. I ended up going to the USPS (post office). They were friendly; almost no waiting. I used Priority Mail Express (1-day). I just checked and my letter was received in Austin by approximately 1100 local time. The charge was $28.75. Hooray for the US post office! Only issue with USPS is that 800 call center/voice prompt system and online system has issues - difficult access and issues with voice prompt system. But overall a very good experience.”
