“I work in the area around this paint supply store, and I drive past it all the time. It's the only store like it I know about, and I was given some projects to do at work that involved painting vehicles, so I went to see what they had.

The woman at the counter is super nice and knows her stuff about the products they carry. I was looking for some paint to fix a transit van. I've been back for supplies on a prius paint job, too. Both times had a great experience. I showed the paint code for the color I needed, and they made it in a couple minutes and I was shown some options for clear coat and polishing compounds, etc. Everything was labeled by hand, and she wrote the mix ratio for the paint + reducer and clear+ hardener to make it all work.
Just very attentive and made sure I knew how to use everything and was really pleasant to talk to. That kind of one on one service is becoming rare, and it was nice to get some insight and advice from someone who wanted to make sure I was taken care of. The gentleman in the back that makes the paint is real kind and asks about what you're painting and makes sure you're getting the correct products. I will always come here first for now on. The prices are really reasonable, the employees are knowledgeable and attentive and it's quick.
What more could you ask for.

But today I was in a pinch and headed over without checking for any discount. Daniel, at the counter, rang up my gallon and said, "Hang on," and looked up an online discount that saved me about $20. Above are some of the words I would use to describe Carlos & Yvette (and Team), the owners of Renew Painting. In a short period of time (the past month), I've utilized their service two separate times already. I have a rental property in Torrance but live almost 400 miles away. My decade-long tenants moved out, so I knew we had a lot to fix up. Painting the interior of the townhouse was one. I received a total of 3 quotes -- 2 were through a family friend who's a realtor and 1 through my own research -- Renew Painting. From the very beginning (estimate phase), Carlos and Yvette were wonderful to work with. We conducted everything through FaceTime, emails, texts, & phone calls. At no point did I feel uncomfortable being far away. I was even able to get Carlos to help me with multiple non-painting jobs around the house. His knowledge and skills are second to none. “Great paint buying experience! Michelle helped me pick out a few colors that all worked great with my living room. She steered me away from some choices that were too dark/bold for my smaller space, and when I painted swatches on the wall I completely understood her logic. I also really appreciated that she didn’t rush me despite my arriving close to closing. I am so happy with the color and quality of the paint I bought, and I’ll definitely be returning to this specific location for future projects!”

“A visit to this store is like going back in time, when you enter a privately-owned business and the owner smiles and acknowledges you, and proceeds to offer you a nationally-recognized quality product at 1/2 to 1/3 the price of big stores such as Home Depot, Lowes, and Sherwin Williams.
I expected a watered-down product involving several coats of paint. No, it was the real deal: a thick, one-coat, nationally-recognized brand of paint that covered the job in one coat...at an unimaginably low price.
For years, I have been wary of this store's sidewalk sign, "One gallon of paint for $10." After giving this store one try, I will NEVER, N-E-V-E-R purchase paint anywhere else.”

“I found H&Q colors via Yelp and I'm glad I called them. After messaging them, it took only a few hours before they called me and ask about the issue. Aaron was good at communicating and figuring out what repair was needed. Scheduling was easy and definitely made sure to accommodate us. As for the repair, I would say 10 out 10. Aaron went above and beyond to fixing our ceiling, enough so that it looked like nothing had happen. Also, during the Job, he made sure that our floors would stay clean. My wife and I are very satisfied”
