“My experience at Glenn's Auto service was great. I was explained everything to where I would understand what my car needed. Also, Mike understood that maybe I couldn't do all the fixes in one time so he broke them down for me and I was able to get it serviced to where I was able to have a drivable car again. I drive from Covina to Downey and back Monday through Friday so i depend on that car. Mike gave me recommendation on what to do next on the car. I will definitely take it back to him. “Had an absolutely great experience here. My car brakes were making noise so I assumed the brakes needed to be changed. After calling multiple places and going to 2 other spots, everyone told me I needed brakes and rotors changed and for a pretty steep price. Called here and the price was fair but we're also available at the moment (everyone else was scheduled for another time). I came in and explained what I was hearing and he explained it may not be the actual brake pads, but the rotors. I asked if he could check and said absolutely. Sure enough, he told me my brake pads were still almost new and it was definitely my rotors and he could resurface them for me. He also said I'm not going to take money for something you don't need.I told him I really appreciated his honesty. Less than an hour later, I'm all done and sure enough the noise is gone and brakes actually feel way better than when I purchased the car. I wholeheartedly appreciate honesty, making time to fit someone in, and all around being a great business. Thank you Barney, your shop earned a new customer today!”

“Amazing shop! La Auto is a great place, I brought my car in to do a quick oil change and they did it lightning fast with no problems. Also had them fix some glitches and bugs I had encountered in the electronics system. The guys really knew what they were doing and got that done too. I have a late model BMW and knowing how to work with it isn't always something any mechanic can do. I had a glitch with the infotainment system which needed special tools and knowledge which they had. Also their shop looks so neat and professional. I could see glimmers of shining new chrome tools tucked away in the drawers! These boys were amazing! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”

“I first came here to get an oil change for one of my cars. It was quick and affordable. I was also able to schedule it online, which I loved. However, what sold me on continuing my business here was something else. One of my other cars was taking a really long time to turn over. I was told the problem was the ignition switch by another mechanic but I was quoted for $1200. So I thought I might look around before getting it fixed. I asked Armando for a quote and again, he gave me a really reasonable price. I brought it in and Armando called me and told me that the battery was failing the test and that it may be the problem but he didn't know for sure. I told him to just replace the battery and call me back if he found anything else. He called me back and told me that changing the batter seemed to get the car starting just fine. He saves me a lot of time and money being so honest with me. He's really responsive and easy to talk to. He's also very honest and doesn't try to cheat you. This is now my go to place for repairs!”

“Every single time I visit My Dad's, I leave such a happy camper! Their service is awesome and they're super quick every time, while maintaining transparency! I've been bringing my car here for oil changes and my fiance's had his brake pads switched out here. Every oil change is quick, even on the weekends, and when they even gave me a heads up on the wear of my tires when I got them rotated. My fiance's brakes like to squeak a lot and they check out his brake pads for free too! 5 stars for the quality work, transparency, and all the great experiences!! “sometimes you need to go where everybody knows your name..for me that's here. I have been coming here for many years. My truck is 30 years old this year. I have never had an issue. Please don't put a lot of value on the negative reviews that you read against S&H. Those negative reviews sound personal to me somebody that has a personal problem or other issue with them..for whatever reason. I've never had bad service at S&H. They have always treated me with respect and repairs were done right, shown me the problem, and I was never overcharged. They have always worked me into their schedule, and if it's necessary to be there more than one day, they always lock it up at night inside. Always told me what they were going to do before they did it.”

“I brought my car there for checking the brakes and rotors! I have been recommender to change both brake pads and rotors for both rear and front. The brake and rotor check costs around 35 bucks which gets waived if you have it replaced there! The rotors and pad parts costed me 500 bucks and the labor costed 360 bucks. The staff were friendly and they did a good job and told me to bring the car back if there was any issue. My only concern was the labor and part costs which seemed a little bit higher than I expected! You can check if it worth it or not!”

“Alex was amazing (shout out to Jerry, too)! I'm sure not all shops love taking on (or will) a motorcycle project such as mine, but Alex did and did an amazing job. We made sure we had the exact color I wanted and did racing stripes on my tank, fairing and seat I made from scratch (and also the front fender), and the bike looks show room ready. Alex and the team were relentless on the fine body work as well as if he took a real personal interest in my project as you would do for your friend. He even made the stripes smooth, not raised, which I said I didn't care about, but he went ahead and did that detail (that my bike friend was impressed by) anyway. After I paid (which stayed within original budget and was a great price), was loaded up and on my way, I sort of bumped into Jerry who wasn't really involved in my project, we had a quick laugh about something, I told him I loved the result, and he gave me a quick look and a smile and said, "yeah, he really went above and beyond on this one." As a single mom with minimal knowledge of cars and stressing about car repair expense I was hesitant to bringing in my car to just any mechanic because of the bad rep they get in scamming especially women. Hector, who I believe is the owner helped me out and was very nice/friendly and made me feel comfortable, explained everything in detail and saved me from a huge problem with my car and money. “You gotta become a regular here. I've been going here for two years now and these guys never fail me. They are always nice and bring you to the back to check out what is wrong with the vehicle. They drove me to my home so I didn't have to walk in the heat or take an Uber since I lived nearby. Best part of all is for an expensive but completely fair priced repair, they washed my car and fixed my AC that's been messed up for 2 years free of charge. They definitely go out of their way to take care of loyal customers. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Very grateful.”
