“Planet Fitness has a bad reputation, but this place is more than enough to get in shape and feel better about yourself. I go early in the morning from 4:15 am to 6:00 am and I have energy the entire day at work. The only thing I hate and have a complaint about is the high school students during the Summer. During the summer they can workout for free and take up the weights and machines not because they're working out, but because they are on their phones. As a paying member it's not cool that I have to wait and alter my workouts.”

“I dropped in for a week while I was on a business trip. I've been doing Crossfit for a long time, but I can't think of a place with such good facilities like here.

Loved the atmosphere, and everyone was so friendly and welcoming.Especially Coach Diego and Treva were super nice!! Attended Coach Hugo and J's classes, and they were very professional. Such great instructors!

I really enjoyed working out for a week and made good memories.

If you are looking for support and consistency, you are more than welcome to join zero givens also has good programs that can achieve to lose some weight, gain muscles, improve your stamina. “i’ve been an otf member at the lakewood studio for almost a year now. i’ve been to about three other studios and will go to those as backup, but the lakewood studio is easily my fav! all the coaches are super encouraging, attentive, and highly motivating. and the front desk staff are so sweet! i highly suggest otf for those that are looking to start their fitness journey or work their way into building routine and discipline to workout. the unique selling point of otf is the heart rate zone monitoring aspect, it sold me instantly because it turned working out into a game for myself providing metrics and numbers to review after every class. there are also classes available to fit all types of schedules and the class formats/workout routines change daily so you’re always looking forward to something new in addition to the benchmarks and challenges that occur periodically. in short, if you’re curious come see for yourself and if u luv it use me as ur referral :3”

“One of the best CrossFit boxes I've had the pleasure of dropping into in my fitness journey!Located in an industrial side of Torrance, TTL was a great spot with modern facilities, a large training space, and fantastic community. Coach Ashley in the morning was fun and led us in a good warmup before proceeding with the WOD which was clearly written on one of the TV monitors.I loved being able to get a good (and challenging) workout and also engaging with a lot of the local athletes. Everyone was welcoming and it was fun to crush a pretty advanced WOD. Although I would argue that the 400m run around the gym is a bit longer than 400, I can't be too upset at working my body up just a bit more.Thanks TTL for the great drop-in experience. I will definitely be back if the opportunity presents itself.”

“I’ve been training with Coach Karl at Movement Society for the last 3-4 months and have had a great experience. I came to Movement Society as a mid-30s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu / MMA hobbyist looking to increase my athleticism and decrease my chances for injury. Coach Karl asked thoughtful questions and carefully analyzed my needs. He helped me realize my full body motions were strong, but my hips were tight and my single leg stability was compromised. He designed a program to address these issues. Since then, I’ve continuously noticed how much stronger I am in positions I previously struggled with. My grappling strength has improved quite a bit; and I’m able to keep up with other practitioners who are significantly younger and more spry than myself.During this time, I also pulled my back doing Jiu Jitsu and saw Dr Tony Dang for several sessions — he put me back together quickly and I was able to start training again within a month.I’d highly recommend Movement Society for personal training and PT, and I see myself coming here for a long time.”

“Update: I've been coming here for about 5 months and I see such immense improvement in my strength and also can see more toned muscle developing on areas of my body. In addition , this has helped me improve my mental health , as it is my daily escape from the stress and hectic nature of life! Again - run don't walk here! It's an invaluable investment in both your physical and mental health! Run don't walk here! This is the only place to go to for all your fitness needs! I love and adore this place! You get a total body workout in 30 minutes (no class times, just simply pop-in), I already feel stronger and see that I am developing more muscle structure. It's a circuit style training with emphasis on kick boxing, conditioning, weight training, core strength, etc. - this is done within 9 different "rounds" that are 3 minutes each and no prior kickboxing experience is necessary. Believe me, the 30 minutes past by like a blink of an eye!All of the trainers are absolutely exceptional, amazing and attentive! If you have any injuries/pre existing mobility issues or if you have any specific fitness goals, they personalize and modify , each "round" as needed for you. You basically have a personal trainer at each and every workout. Also, this location is extremely welcoming, there is such a deep sense of community and camaraderie when you walk in the door. It's like your neighbor "Cheers" bar (for those of you are old enough to get the reference), where they know your name and you receive a heartfelt warm smile & wave.Stop by as soon as you can! “This gym is absolutely amazing! The trainers are really welcoming and guide you through the entire circuit. I love the fact that we get boxing and kickboxing pad work. The trainers really try to teach you the fundamentals so that you know what you’re doing. I love that the this gym is really clean and the bathroom amenities is a plus! Love the community atmosphere, everyone including members are really friendly. I highly recommend this gym if you’re looking for a full body workout that is fun and engaging.
