My family has been going to Juan for years, so long that even my kids go to him! We drive every year to see him and have our taxes prepared by him--even after we moved a hundred miles away! My kids and I make it a day, and go to dinner or something afterwards to release the tension that built up preparing for "tax day". If you're lucky enough to get an appointment, I recommend Juan. He is thorough and knowledgeable--he stays updated on the laws, etc. He doesn't pay much attention to the aesthetics of his office, but that's okay with us! (He moved to an accessible space after I couldn't climb up to his old one--the elevator at the "new" place is a bit sketchy, but at least there's access!)

Great service, easy and quick. I went to Juan, and it was worth it. He breaks it down easy and I understand my taxes much better and I don’t miss out on deductions. I initially tried online tax services but I must have done something wrong & noticed hidden fees.I’ve been going here for 7 yearsPro tip: if you’re going in February/March/April book your appointment 2 weeks out because they get really busy! But it’s worth the wait for their service and being able to go in without a long wait.

Always a great experience. Juan Soto is so professional and always helps in getting you the best refund. I’ve been coming to him for years. Highly recommend this place. BTW address listed for El Latino Income tax is incorrect. The correct address as of 2021 is 3621 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Ste 12 Lynwood located on the second floor. Plenty of parking in the back.

Every time I go do my taxes with Juan Soto it's a great experience. Been coming here for years. Him and his wife always so welcoming. If I'm case you were not aware El Latino income tax has moved location. The correct address as of 2021 is 3621 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Ste 12 Lynwood on the second floor. Plenty of parking in the back.

I've been filing my taxes with Juan for 6 years now and he has always done a wonderful job. He explains things to me and I appreciate being able to talk this through with someone vs using a self filing service. It's quick and easy, if you prefer to go into the office I would recommend making an appointment before hand.

Thank you Juan for helping me prepare my taxes. Professional and knowledgeable. I didn’t know I would be helped by Juan directly as I have gone to other places where they’ll have another tax professional help their clients because they might have alot of clients at one time or are extremely booked. Also glad to find an honest tax preparer as I have been charged alot in the past and they don’t even provide insight try to help out the customer like in my case. I paid H & R block to prepare my taxes for a 1099 Form and they charged me nearly $400. The preparer said that my food receipts are useless as they can't be deducted or included in expenses. There were also other things the H&R block Tax preparer could have done to help me like EIC (which I will explain later because I barely earned $5,000 in the previous year, and tax deductions but instead I ended up owing $1k+ to the IRS which I had to pay in smaller payments and I didn’t get a tax refund.After coming to Juan, he told me I can deduct my food (because I’m an independent contractor) and because my job is my business, so food is a deductible expense. He also informed me or taught me about Earned Income Tax Credit which is credit for those that done earn as much and if you are 25+ years old, then you qualify. So I owe the IRS roughly $400 less for this year and I got a tax refund which will all help me during this pandemic work fluctuation and instability. Thank you Juan for your expertise, professionalism and honesty.

The tax guy is so fast and efficient but there's no point of making appointments if we still have to wait 40mins or he's behind schedule. A courtesy call would be nice! My parents have also been here and they've complained about the same thing, not getting called on time which completely defeats the purpose of having & making appointments.
