This was a great rafting experience. Devon was a fantastic guide - funny, experienced, and helped us make the most of our time out on the water. I loved my experience and would recommend H2O to anyone who is looking to raft the American river.

A group of us booked for the half day on the South Fork. We got to have our group in the same raft and had an awesome time with our amazing guide Cassidy. This was our first time rafting and she made the experience so much fun! She was kind and made sure we all stayed safe. Cassidy tailored the experience based on the type of rafting experience we wanted. We got to go towards all the largest rapids and have an adventurous experience. I highly reccomend others to book with them. We will be booking with them again.

There are many companies that offer rafting trips on the American River, and after looking at ~10, I picked H20 Adventures because 1) they were a local company, 2) I didn't want food included, and 3) price. It was straightforward to book through their website, and when I had to make some changes later on, I emailed and talked on the phone with Fianna, who was responsive and helpful in answering my questions and making the changes.Our group of 7 adults did the half day South Fork of the American River, Lower Gorge Run. Once we were all gathered at the river campground, we were given our equipment (all in good condition) and a thorough safety talk. Most of us had no experience with white water rafting, and our guide Marina was a great instructor and paddle captain. At the beginning, she asked us if we wanted our trip to be "mild or spicy," and when the group decided on "spicy," she delivered a high adrenaline trip on the river, including spinning the raft, purposely hitting rocks, and tackling rapids head on, but each time she gave clear instructions before and during, so we were able to paddle together confidently. Everyone had a blast, and I doubt we would've had the option of a "spicy" adventure if we had gone with one of the bigger companies (e.g. OARS), which seemed to have a more rigid schedule and style for their large groups.Highly recommend H20 Adventures if you're looking for an adventure on the water!

I went on one of the last South Fork (4 hr) excursions of the year and it was incredible!! I was worried about falling off or the intensity of the rapids, but it turns out there was nothing to fear, it was incredibly fun and we all felt very safe the entire time (so much so that I volunteered to hop off and swim for a portion of the river and try riding the front of our raft like a bull!)My guide was Kelly and even though I've only gone rafting once I'm sure she is the best guide we could have possibly gotten!! Seriously Kelly, if you're reading this, you were awesome and thanks for suggesting front-loading the raft on Satan's Cesspool!!I'm not sportsy or "active" and so I was quite tired after the 4 hr trip and sore the next day, but it was a good kind of tired and sore. Kelly made sure to teach proper form and that really helped my not feel the ache as bad as I otherwise would've. I'd gladly go again and would recommend going with H2) Adventured if you're thinking of rafting, whether alone or with a small group or with a whole cohort of 20 like we did! (I'm the one holding the paddle over my head in the pic!)

Best river rafting experience. Our guide was Mike. He shared a lot of stories and laughter with us. If possible, please ask him to be your guide. He's amazing! We did level 3 rafting, it was fun for everyone, even the first timers. Unfortunately we did not get to try the famous brownies made by Tracy but we plan to try it next spring when we go back for level 4 ?

To say our trip was off the charts amazing would be an understatement. The entire staff is so well organized and safety conscientious. Our guides Lexi and Trevor were so well versed on the different rapids and how to approach, read the rapids, work together and work through each rapid. We felt safe and literally had the time of our lives.The best part was when they took a potential issue when my 81 year old father went over and Trevor and Lexi traversed the boats upstream to go and get him back in the boat. Mind you he is close to 285lbs and Lexi is about as big around as my pinkie. She and Trevor kept us all calm, paddling upstream and once everyone was safe they triaged the situation and kept the mood light and fun. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will absolutely make this an annual trip. They are also fantastic at adapting rafting to meet the needs of the rafters. My youngest is blind but had a major blast! Trevor made sure he was in a safe spot where he could instruct him and intervene if needed. All and all the entire staff was accommodating, fun and thoughtful. You even get homemade brownies and ice water on the drive back. The day could not have been any better. We will absolutely be repeat customers.

It was my first time rafting. I was kinda nervous at first but everything turns out great and it was super fun. 10/10 will definitely come again. A shoutout for all the staffs, very informative and fun to talk to. ?

First time going and it ended up being the "Highlight " of my trip to Reno. A little more physical than I thought it would be because of the team effort to row. Also was thrown off at one of the worst places that you would want to be overboard. After surfacing under the middle of the raft I was quickly hauled back in like a tuna on "Wicked Tuna" and enjoyed the rest of the rafting trip. Excellent guides, who are knowledgeable as they're skilled. Don't hesitate to book your rafting trip with H2O,you'll be glad you did, I know I was!!

We've been planning to do river rafting and my coworker recommended H2O adventures. First time rafting and this experience is not just fabulous but an ABSOLUTE BLAST! H2O Adventures, the ultimate rafting company for both beginners and seasoned rafters alike. This company knows how to deliver an unforgettable experience.Incredibly Fianna-owner was very helpful answering all of our questions. I made changes couple times to our reservation and Fianna was very patient and so kind to help. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Tyler-owner and his team that is not only very professional but also friendly and helpful. They'll make you feel right at home, ensuring every aspect of your trip is taken care of.Hands down to the three guides -Lyndsey, Trevor and Jeremy! We were a total of 19 people (14 adults and 5 kids). We were organanizely divided into 3 groups by Jeremy. Provided us thorough coaching before you even step foot in a boat. All 3 guides are awesome. With their expert guidance, you'll be ready to take on the rapids with confidence and they are also veryknowledgeable about the river and everything that surrounded in it.Rafting half day at South fork american river left us crave for more. Everybody had so so much fun! We will definitely come back next year and will be bringing more people because some of our families and friends would love to join next time.So whether you're a thrill seeker or just looking for a unique way to explore outdoors, don't miss out on the opportunity to raft with H2O adventures.
