Highly recommend Earthtrek for anyone looking to make a whitewater rafting trip along the American River. We stayed in their riverside deluxe tents and really enjoyed the location which despite being in near triple digit temperatures with the weather was very cool thanks to the location along the river. Jerry is a great host and an excellent cook. Meals were outstanding and well balanced. OARS is next to Earthtrek which made the location very convenient. Thank you Jerry!

I have been going to rafting trips at Earthtrek since 2012 with a large group and the experience has always been amazing. Clean cabins, restrooms well appointed and cleaned regularly, delicious, freshly prepared meals. This is a local, family-run business that deserves your support as they are a local treasure!

Love this place! I've been going back for over 10 years now, about every other year, and every time I leave impressed. Everything is clean and the food is healthy and delicious. The riverside tent cabins are heavenly. This family run business is a real gem on the river.

We went during the week so it wasn't busy. The owner John was so sweet- he made sure we were comfortable and when it's slow he asks what the guests would like for their meal and he makes it. The food was great, the location was awesome snd I was thankful for fully stocked usable bathrooms and showers. The site is right next to OARS and another rafting company and right in the American River. A great family glamping trip.

Every time I stay at EarthTrek it is a perfect experience. Jerry and his family make the place so incredibly welcoming and comfortable. The river side cabins are so unique, and the campgrounds are beautifully maintained. Amazing location for a wedding!

Our first visit with a few other families. Clean, cute water tents overlooking the river with ample bathrooms and showers that were very clean. We are not a outdoorsy camping family but we loved it. Great spot for a weekend getaway for us Bay Area folks. Jerry and Laura were wonderful on a super hot weekend. Basically pack your clothes and head on up. We will be back!

Just got back from a 2 night stay at earthtrek. Friday night to Sunday morning with a day of class 2-3 rafting with Oars. 3 of the families stayed in the river tents and we stayed in the cabin with AC. I was worried about the heat (101) But turns out the nights cool off really nicely and the river tents were fine.Great facility. Nice clean bathrooms and showers. Ping pong, corn hole, open space for kids to run around. Shallow river banks with lots of crawdads to catch. Ice cold drinking water always available, good food. Friendly owner/staff.Close to restaurants. Rafting is right next door(same parking lot)We used to do the full on camping thing were you have to bring EVERYTHING. This is so much better! Kids get the outdoor experience and parents can enjoy more and work less. Love it! Rafting was so fun too!

My wide and I held our one year wedding anniversary party at EarthTrek in Fall 2021. They absolutely did an amazing job. We had to change plans because of COVID several times over the course of a year. EarthTrek was easy to communicate with and reliable during all these changes. The facility makes you feel like you are in a magical tree house just above the American River. Jerry and family have done an amazing job building it. The grounds have something for everybody. River access is great, and the food is amazing. We had several guests comment that the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. It's all cooked in house and at a very reasonable price. This place is impossible to beat for the quality and price. Would strongly recommend for any outdoor event.

We stayed here for Junior Guides camp. It is a beautiful camp ground with good food and beautiful setting right in the river. We have had a great experience.

This was my fourth stay at Earthtrek and the experience has always been first class. Great campsite right on the American river, family friendly and amazing food! Enjoyed a day of rafting with OARS. Jerry is amazing and ensures an enjoyable experience for all!
