The salon had a very welcoming and warm environment, and did exactly what I asked for! Gwen, the owner did my hair and she was very kind and was happy to answer any questions I may have had. Definitely coming back for a touch up!

I was so grateful when I put a request out on Yelp on Thursday, for a last minute appointment for the coming Saturday, to a bunch of salons, and Trends was one of the ones that got back to me with an opening! I got there today and had Rebecca, who I highly recommend. We had a misunderstanding when I originally booked the appointment because what I asked for and booked, turns out was the wrong terminology and what I actually wanted was going to take a little longer. She had a client behind me, but was able to squeeze in what I wanted in record time. She did an amazing job for me, and was also super sweet. I am super thankful Rebecca and Trends were able to get me in before my trip! Highly recommend this salon and would love to go to Rebecca for all my future hair needs!

Elsa was recommended to me as a curly hair specialist. I've never been to a curl specialist before. I have wavy/curly hair and I really wanted to learn how to take care of it and encourage healthy curls. Elsa gave my hair a nice trim - not a huge change, but a nicer shape than the uneven cut I had before. More importantly, she taught me things I had never known before about how to manage my curly hair. My hair looked amazing even after sleeping on it! Thanks Elsa, I'll definitely be back!

Elsa was a gem to find. I have fine 3b curly hair so it's finicky and can't handle too much blow drying or touching/manipulation during the styling process. She gave me an excellent curly haircut and has given great dusting style trims as I've grown my hair out. She listens to me and understands she can't handle my hair the same as her thicker haired curly clients. This has been huge to me and has left me fully satisfied with my results after every appointment. The salon itself has been beautifully updated and is spacious. Easy to find parking right behind the salon location for free.

I definitely would give high recommendations to my stylist that I've known for many many years Elsa, T. She always does an excellent job on a simple guy haircut, but additionally, delights me with her conversation on what's going on with her trying to get out of me what's going on with you buddy , she used to do color on me. We stopped that a few years ago, I have a more mature, gray, whitish, gray, naturally, and she keeps it a good length for me. She's always willing to go out a limb to commentate me (Covid, etc.). She's a blessing, and I think anybody wouldappreciate what she does. She makes me laugh a lot too best wishes.

Elsa is so wonderful and does an amazing job with curly hair! Ever since I started the curly girl method, I only trust her with my hair. She listens carefully to what I'm looking for and suggests what makes sense based on my hair type. I always leave looking and feeling fabulous. The salon is comfortable and clean. Cannot recommend highly enough!

I've been coming to Trends to see Elsa for many years. She is the only person who I trust with my curly hair. She was the first person who cut my hair and made my curls look fantastic and not just crunchy. I love coming to see Elsa every 6 months for a cut and refresh. She is such a delight to sit in her chair and chat. I highly recommend Elsa to any body with any hair type. She cares about you and knows how to make your hair look good!

Trends Salon is one of the best salons in the Bay Area! The business is run professionally with great customer service and amazing hair stylists. I have been going to Elsa Tanig for 10 years and she is always on time, fun to talk to and does a great job cutting my hair. Definitely a five star business!

Elsa Tanig pays a lot of attention to each client's hair desires, she is very patient, truly listens and before she begins, she makes sure we are aligned on color to be used, service to be provided and even timing if you have an appointment after you need to get to. She is very fun to visit with as well !

I love going to see Elsa Tanig at Trends Salon. I have been getting my hair done for a while with Elsa she does such a great job. She gets my hair to a T. I would highly recommend going to Trends to see Elsa and feel beautiful or handsome again.
